Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is free and I love it! Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis It's a gacha, free-to-play RPG for mobile phones released on September 7, 2023. Developed by Applibot and published by Square Enix. The game is set to adapt the events of the various titles in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
You will get to experience a completely new story with First Soldier: Glenn, Lucia, Matt and Sephiroth, and only because of that is already worth playing.
The game is set to follow a chapter based structure, with monthly chapter releases after launch. Whale perspective here: Tifa is... strange... Her outfit is good to have for support... much like the physical mastery outfit, both can be used depending on the situation. 9/10 times, the mastery is going to be used, as you can have buff extension by a weapon and usually one of the weapons on her would be either Arctic Star or 4 Point Shuriken. So, to have the buff extrension, you could get with other weapons, but to have a flat 15% more damage, is most of the times more efficient. Should you pull? Only if you can afford it.
Tifa's weapons are both amazing... and irrelevant :P The issue is, they are Magic build based... yes, it is good to have a Magic based Water build, the problem is, the way the teams are shaping up, a Cloud/Zack/Glenn physical water team is much more efficient, as all 3 can be build for Water and Zack can provide the required support, while still being physical. In this team, Tifa will be odd... and in a Magic based team, well, the equivalent Zack/Seph team is not focused on that, so Tifa plays a solo game here.
The reason I mention this is because after the limit banners, the way we build teams have changed drastically... unless one has not pulled on the limit banners, having a full mag based or full phys based team is always preferred as you have less buffs/debuffs to apply and you buff your stats with party weapons, so the point is to min/max that approach. With Tifa being Magic based, we need a whole new set of weapons to make her go, unless you build a hybrid support unit. I CAN see this in the Cloud/Glenn team if Tifa is the healer, and goes debuff + heals. But then again, Zack can double down on the same role, by using Twinkle Star + Black Whisker and have an offensive physical healer build with pdef down, water resist down, and a 30% water materia slot. So, I like we get this option, but it is just that: an option. Again: should you pull? Only if you can afford it.
Now, Zack's gear and weapons are better positioned: He already, as we read above, HAS a physical build, we just now can complement it with Ice element if necessary, and even in an offensive healer capacity, we can utilise Defender as a healing stat stick that also boosts Ice potency. So, a build with Twinkle Star + Pressure Ridge (the new weapon), Defender, Arctic Star and any patk +ice/physical potency weapon does the trick, as now you have a support for a physical Cloud/Tifa/Zack all Ice based team if needed.
As for Shinra uniform, in ALL cases you won't be using the Ice Arcanum uniform, trust me, you will still be using Shinra Uniform... unless your team Magic based, so Zack becomes the Fire mage.
All in all, NONE of the weapons and gear above are "must have" but all are "if you can afford it, sure, go for it". I pulled until the end of page 2 for the two gear and whatever weapons I got was just bonus... they will be wishlisted later whenever... none of those weapons are necessary to clear the pre-existing content... What Zack does, you can do with Lucia and Bald Eagle... what Tifa does, you can do with Zack and Black Whiskers... so unless you don't have those, or can afford the extra, or just prefer the new ones, in all other circumstances, this is an easily skippable banner.
Floor 90 was dealt with Cloud/Matt/Lucia even before I pulled on this banner... on auto... by just pressing limits at the right time... so, it isn't that without the above banner we are gatekept from beating content... We have many Ice builds available, both physical and magical... as we also have water builds available.
PS: Cosplay-wise, both banners look ugly to me... and not at all reminiscent of anything remotely relevant to FFVII... Personally, I would love to see more gear that we already saw in the FFVII universe, rather than random new stuff, but that is my perspective... 9/10 times, I play with the default gear skin... as I like the original character design.

I really agree that now we are in a different stage altogether, at least for most us whales, where now is important than ever to focus on one type of DMG to min max our builds, love how you described the potential of Zack with Black Whiskers, which I totally forgot it exists hahaa
This comment also made me think in better light about the Shinra Uniform as well, because that HP could be really handy in the future, where ICE Dmg might not be needed at all.
Now personally after clearning B90 I think I´m gonna pass on this banner, because my Lucia is strong enough as an Ice support and I really wanna go all in when Vicent drops!

They will drop more water banners for sure to get us ready for the next rank dungeon but as of this moment she’s the perfect water unit. Also can buff herself with high water potency buff which is a first

Fantastic breakdown of the optional builds for ice and water and their physical and magical counterparts.
Ramuh is weaker to physical attacks, so Tifa will not do quite as well with her magical water build. Cloud and Glenn should be the better option especially with Glenn his PATK All ability. Healer / support like you said can be Matt. You can use Bramble Spine on the main hand for AOE heal and buff PATK to Zack. Off hand can be Core Defender for MDEF AOE or Orthodox Raven for AOE water damage.
One subweapon for Matt can be Yuffie's 4 Point Shuriken which brings HP and buff/debuff extension if you plan to use Matt's buff PATK ability.
Tifa costume looks dope af but I cant justify pulling here.

Costumes are good pull but not a must pull. Since they are buff/debuff extension costumes, which you can get from other weapons.
So this banner can be skipped and just wishlist the weapons later when needed.
For whales, they will pull, but for Dolphins, if you already have Cloud and Glenn LB weapons, you're already set for Ifrit Ex2 and Ramuh Ex2. If you're missing 1 of those weapons, then replace with current featured banner weapon.

I personally think that I’m going to pull for Zack. Have you found some great use for the buff/debuff extension already? It’s such a hyped ability but I’m still not sold yet
@pliyo it works well for him, having debuff weapons equipped. Like current weapon or Black Whiskers. Works well with Ceremonial Sword too, so you can use his ATB doing other stuff and not always attacking to keep PATK buff.
He can be alternate DPS for the Ifrit/Baha trials with said gear. Ice and pdef debuff for Ifrit while Ceremonial dmg for Bahamut.
