Always loved this scene Regina is literally crying tears of joy while snow is suffering and so depressed and Regina is like this is the happiest day of my life.
broooo she’s been in the same place as snow where she was good but her heart was blackening which caused her to turn evil bc she knows the same pain that snow is in
That’s what I found most intriguing about the Evil Queen/early Regina. The second you got past the costumes and... well... regality, that’s all that was left. A hurt little girl. Which is a *very* realistic example of a “villain”.
The difference between Snow White and Regina is that Snow White has people who love her and will do anything and everything to help her conquer her darkness. Regina was alone so she had no one to pull her back. Besides, Snow White needs some darkness; this will make her more dimensional as a character and not the 1 sided archtypical heroine that's so boring.
Paul Wagner more so than just killing her. When they all got off the boat she was ready to go after her and when charming stopped her, snow LITERALLY had the face, the tone, expression and everything that stated why the hell are you not agreeing to this? She deserves to die. Snow likes to talk a big game but more than ANYONE in the show, she is the biggest, most selfish, most morally misguided, character I have met.
I love this scene snow crying because she wants to die rather then have darkness in her And Regina crying because in a way she finally won and the music when she shed a tear and said you see I can have everything
I hate to be the first one to say it, but this scene was so satisfying. I kind of wanted Regina to win. Seeing Snow so broken, right after watching that Daniel scene, it's just so satisfying.
best scene ever! lana is just phenomenal!! "you see' i CAN have everything.. thanks to you. now GET OFF MY PORCH" all hail the evil queen!!! ♥ #EvilRegal
When I think about the original storyline you know the one with "the fairest of them all". And then I watch Snow and Regina, who in the world would say Snow is fairest than Regina?? I mean look at them.
I love the subtle detail Lana places in the performance while she's smiling and in tears at the same time and saying she hopes this horrible thing happens to snow because deep down she's in agony as she knows she really doesn't want to be this evil and hated person she just doesn't know how to break the cycle
This is one of my favorite scenes ever! I mean look at the way Lana delivers her lines and her facial expressions. It gives me chills everytime I watch it, such a strong scene. Ginny is fantastic as well. And also when Regina says "I can have everything" it's the only time we've ever seen that specific expression on her face throughout all the seasons and episodes. PHENOMENAL
I in this scene, the reason Regina start to get teary was that she was somehow disappointed in Snow by seeing the darkness on her heart!I mean doesn't matter how much Regina hated her, still was her stepmom for years, even by pretending, she saw her everyday and knew her completely!but probably instead of consider Snow as pure goodness, she saw her more as a stupid naive girl who ruined her life by telling Cora everything!probably living in Storybrooke somehow changed her POV a little and was able to see Snow as a victim and pure good which she was in Enchanted Forest and made her a like a scared little weak Mary Margaret during the curse because she saw her as a strong woman in their own world!but in this scene by seeing that darkness, she became really disappointed!like her opinion about Snow being a total foolish naive girl was true and not just that!is also so weak enough to get into the darkness that easily!
I love regina she is my favourite BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET IT GO!! It wasn't snows fault that her love dies she was just a kid bloody hell she was henrys age
nice0girl Which, you so easily forget, was BEFORE she lost her mother. I'm pretty sure that would change any little girl. Her intentions, in both instances, were good. It was the intentions of cora that were evil. And besides, every bit of fear, hatred and spite that has been aimed at Regina, she earned doubly so, by actions that were HERS, not Snow's, not Cora's.
@@nice0girl old comment I know, but just in case, y’all are forgetting that Snow was TRICKED into thinking it was a good idea to disclose the love of Regina and Daniel.
I watch the most recent episodes and I think, where the HELL did this Regina go!? She was a villain with all the power but she was tragic, vindictive, nurturing, ruthless, compassionate. She was brilliantly complicated. Now the show's writers just keep throwing more tragedy at her because THAT'S become her character. The one who gets shit on and since she's no longer evil, the writer's are just punching down and it's not fun to watch. Not sure how much longer this show can crawl along. Every season is just a rehash of previous seasons, plot agonizingly moves forward, destroying what little "character" each actor has left. On another note, we NEVER really reconcile this scene. Snow White mentions how her heart was darkened SEASONS later but it was an aside, just a brief mention during a conversation about something else. Did we not see her anguish in this scene? We should have spent the next few episodes dealing with I'm sure would have been Snow White's spiraling depression. She's a hero always talking about doing the right thing, finding "another way" and she murders Regina's mother by tricking Regina into doing it!! That's some dark shit! How did we not pursue this in the development of her character!? Writers dropped the ball on this one, I'm really pissed about it.
Ndesire I agree it was like they just forgot and then suddenly the writers added the heroes don’t kill concept, which in my opinion is a faulty logic cause their knights in their military are villains.
At last, Regina made the right choice. Cruel motive, but right choice. Sure killing Snow right then and there would have been tempting, but it would have been too merciful of an act and mercy is not revenge for Regina. Furthermore, Emma, David, and Henry would have set their minds completely on killing Regina and Regina would have had about a 0% chance of getting Henry back, so that wasn’t the right choice. The better choice was indeed to let Snow live.
I find it excellent that the heart looks just like Sayaka's soul gem when it had just started being tainted... Maybe the producers saw Puella Magi two years ago.
for some reason even tho i know regina is evil and she has made so many more evil choices than snow, i somehow agree with her lines here & how she chose not to kill Snow, cause there was no need at this point, she was undoing herself.
Lana is such an amazing and talented actress. She my favorite actor/actress in the whole world! She is one of the many reason Regina is my favorite character. Snow has to be one of my least favorite characters..
It would be too easy for Regina to kill Mary Margaret/Snow White so instead Snow Whites punishment was to live with her own darkness because she committed murder on Cora - Regina's mother to save Rumple. I forgot how good the first two seasons were. I never like the Peter Pan story arc or cared too much for the camelot story arc either
2:00 I don't know why but sometimes she reminds me so much of Kerry Washington. Like if Olivia Pope was a soon-to-be-reformed-evil witch casting spells and shit.
Dude, lana was perfect and the only one to play regina the evil queen i honestly cant imagine this show lasting as long as it did without all the perfect actors and actresses they really made this show shine
This is justice. I've always hated Snow. I mean you literally think that is when we spent 30 years give or take trying to kill you and they put a curse an entire round all because you told a secret come on I'm pretty sure there's more to that the entire pain and she's going through and losing her love like low-key I'm pretty sure living in the castle with her father there were some kind of something going on that no one will talk about like rape or something and she was barely 20. And Im pretty the people weren't welcoming of her because she was not Snow's mom. Ughhh. Ima stop my rant now.
I don’t find Charming or Snow so likable, their hero complex come off as boring to watch. Emma even annoys me sometimes. *Regina had so much growth during seasons. We love to see it*
If Snow White's heart is turning dark from her having to kill a person who was about to slaughter a whole family, then how dark is Regina's heart? Or Rumpelstiltskin's heart?
mahasalimable she didn’t just kill her to protect everyone she tricked and lied to Regina and convinced her to give Cora her heart back so she could love her knowing that she’d be making Regina kill her. I don’t care what Cora or Regina were doing that’s evil more than 1 person or group can be evil in the same situation
I have a question, Is that dark spot there because Snow felt guilty or because what she did is bad??? If it's the first one, that means insane people like Cruella that doesn't feel guilt would have a perfect glowing heart....
In the 4th Season, Snow White speculates that the darkness was in her heart was caused because she and Charming stole Maleficent's child and put Emma's darkness into her and as a result Maleficent's child was banished to the Real World.
Sorry, I just don't feel sorry for Regina or Cora. They've ruined too many people's lives for me to care about their brief moment of reconciliation or the fact that Snow is responsible for killing Cora. Very well acted though.

I think this is best moment in the show. These atresses are amazing. Such a strong acting
I have never noticed Regina is tearing up too...She's so sad and hurt.

Love how Snow kills dozens of Regina's guards and her heart doesn't blacken because of fairy tale logic
A Song Of Weiss And Fire I’m guessing it doesn’t darken because most of the time it was self defense at least in every scene I’ve seen anyway.
Snow committed full cold blooded pre meditated murder. She killed Cora.
@Sabrina Yoy Nah, because that was the author's wrongdoing
