Hi dear
Thanks for commenting.
Dear yep you can add melted wax and when this is hot we have to immediately need to knead it and make it homogeneous because we had added wax in it ingredients if we will not knead it. Wax will get harder in this dough and spoils the results.
Second thing you have asked about its shirking when it cure. Yep dear it slightly shrink not much
