Since I have already watched the supporter video I didn't think there would anything else to see. Fortunately I did pick up that you were explaining about standing on the pegs so as not to get stuck on roots...then you got stuck on a root! Bravo my man!
Barry, Great video! "Iron class" huh? I guess I would have to opt for the "Plastic Class"! Hope your ribs heal up and please stop breaking yourself! Cheers!
Yeah bring on the plasticene class! There was nothing too tricky with that climb but it was energy sapping... and imagine dozens of stopped bikes all over the tracks too. Apparently much of the iron class is just like a trail ride but it's a solid four days with a fair number of these climbs (or descents) thrown in. You'd really need heaps of rider fitness.
@@crosstrainingenduro It was his 3rd year entering. This time finishing. I don't recall what he finished at overall. His bib was 694. His buddy placed in the 20's that he went with.

Essentially if you just do the opposite of what I do on a bike and you'll improve dramatically, Dave 🤣
Constantly in awe of the terrain over there. The supporter's vid is definitly worth the price of admission. :)
Thanks David!

Super vidéo au top 👍👍👍
Merci beaucoup
That looks very similar to my back yard...but 30 degrees cooler.
😂
Did they allow you to film the race?
I wasn't in the race, this was a tour the week before. I had a press pass and did film quite a bit of the event though.
Damn if that don`t look like East Tennessee.
A good friend Mark Lucas rode Iron Class in the last Romaniac.
How did he go? It would be tough to finish, let alone place well.

Good on him. It would need a lot of rider fitness as well as the riding skills...

Now you've really hurt my feelings! 😂
@@crosstrainingenduro lol good on ya mate ;)
After that comment, I think 4strokes will be discontinued. 🙈
I don't think so, still plenty of perverts out there...LOL
@@robsonenduro3316 I agree. I just think, nobody wants to drive on a m..🥴
😂
4-strokes are only ridden in the toilet at night!
@@doc650adventures 😁
Is there a tinfoil class?
I'm hoping for paper mache or even lower....
