  • N Corp is the most fanatical faction discovered so far, skewering their foes with giant nails and bludgeoning them with large hammers. When it comes to the IDs, this remains true. This guide is a bit longer because this faction contains twice the number of the usual IDs. I hope you find this helpful.
    For those who want to borrow my IDs, my code is: G379347410

    Update: N Corp doesn't actually gain a lot from Uptie 4. Most of them inflict more Nails and Heath, Rodya, and Sinclair gain bonuses from being in a team full of N Corp IDs. Faust gives an additional Fanatic with her passives too.
    Meursault's N Corp ID gains a lot of Aggro at Uptie 4 but not a lot else. This faction doesn't really benefit from Uptie 4 as much as others do.

    What I find funny about tank IDs is that they do BETTER the LESS teammates they have. Especially N sault. In a full party, he might not do the best, but if he's alone... Well... Good luck getting through his 10 protection and counters +2 most likely unopposed attacks (if in a human fight that drags on for that long). Let's not forget, if he's under half, you can sacrifice a few of his skills for the counter to trigger his passive and give him 6 protection just for the hell of it.
    Too bad Limbus' battle mechanics don't really let him and other tank ids shine like they should (well, maybe except K Hong Lu).

    • @kaskozhuk4158
      @kaskozhuk4158  11 місяців тому +42

      It is really strange how that works. Tank IDs are pretty consistently the best IDs for solo but just don't offer anything in a team most of the time. They really just need a way to taunt and they they would be useful in pretty much any composition.

      @Shadow6OO 11 місяців тому +1

      @@schnozgaming989 The new Meursault is good at doing that since he can build up speed through his charges and passive, but other tank IDs are usually on the slower end so that you don't really get the option of making them tank specific enemy skills. Plus, the better strategy for MD (both normal and hard mode) is building up the EGO resources necessary to clash a lot easier during tough fights, making that strategy of tanking them more of a last-ditch effort that might not even succeed.

    I also want to thank you for actually telling people that N-Heathcliff is usable rather than writing him off as a bad Identity, which nearly everyone seemed to do when he released. Sure, he's not exactly the best piece of support for a pure Nails/Fanatic team, but through my time in using him, I've been shocked at how good he is as a _generic_ unit. He does a little bit of everything - bleed support on the first skill, a rare but useful debuff (plus some SP recovery) on his second, and consistent damage output on his third. Oh, and he fuels Bodysack just as well as base Heath.
    Plus, he's decently fast and somewhat bulky, but doesn't lean too far into either role. Overall, I think he's a fantastic 2-star _for new players,_ or for players that don't have a huge collection, because he's _almost completely self-sufficient_ and can pull his weight on all kinds of teams. He feels like the most "comically average" Identity, but in the best possible way, and I love him for his versatility. Plus, him being mediocre support for an N Corp. team, but also a good generic unit, fits with his lore: Heath's not a fanatic Inquisitor, but literally JUST SOME GUY they hired.

    T4 Hex Nail inflicts 3 Nails.
    NMeursalt's counter is good, especially early in fights.
    NFaust gains lust sin on her evade at T4.

    You actually have the way nails works backwards. It reduces the count by half rounded down at the end of the turn, THEN applies bleed count at the start of the next turn. It’s extremely unfortunate and makes nails a lot less good than it seems they are.

    • @kaskozhuk4158
      @kaskozhuk4158  11 місяців тому +21

      I actually didn't know it decayed before the end of the turn. While this does make it worse, it's still one of the more reliable ways to inflict Bleed Count, so I'd say it isn't a big enough reason not to use it.

      Imo Nclair isnt the best damage in the game anymore, i will just say it.
      W corp Don
      Spicebush Yi Sang(with sunshower ofc)
      Theyre all way better than Nclair, and i will prove why.
      W corp Don has no actual downsides, her fragility on her skill 2(Leap) is insanely strong, her skill 3(Rip space) is insanely strong, not as strong as Nclair self-destructive but fragility on leap is just better.
      Spicebush Yi Sang, lets see, skill 3 is the highest damage attack in the game in specific conditions, but even without stacking sinking, its still insanely good, in MD2 hard if you get gifts which stack sinking you more than likely can win, sunshower is the strongest E.G.O. in the game imo simply because of how useful it is along with its DMG, in abnormality fights Yi Sang just straight up abuses them with his skill 2.
      Did i mention none of them have down-sides unlike Nclair, which is hard to manage?

      i mean 1. N Sinclair still hasnt gotten any good EGO aside from his pizza cutter one while both Don and Spice Yisang got an HE EGO that specifically synergize with their best ID as well. we'll see how good Sinclair's HE Ego is but right now he isnt doing so strong in the EGO department.
      2. his skill 2 doesnt have a damage counter, but its still easily in the top 2 most powerful skill in the game. Its 16 4 times in a row, his 2nd skill is an equivalent of alot of unit's S3. So in noway Spice Yisang alone can out damage him. also Yisang's fox EGO isnt available for non-pass payer this season, we'll have to wait for next season to get it; and again we still havent gotten Sinclair's HE EGO yet.
      So yes i agree Yisang's fox EGO is hella powerful, but it is powerful on all of his ID, not just exclusively on the Spicebush ID. His Spicebush ID alone without Fox EGO is in no way stronger than N Sinclair. the EGO could mke even his base ID stronger than Sinclair
      3. He is in noway hard to manage, it just mean you actually have to pay attention instead of spamming winrate. He is way easier to manage compare to alot of the new gimmicky unit in season 2. If you want to spam winrate in MD then you probably dont need to use him, but he's hella easy to manage. his "difficulty" is always overbloated just because people cant spam winrate on negative coin IDs
      EDIT: i made a 4 coin skill comparison on reddit, his skill 2 only fall short to TT Honglu's S2, but other than that he has the 2nd best S2 in the game, yes even better than Kuro HongLu and Rose Rodion. His skill 2 is someone else's S3 in term of raw power

      @Wine_Addict I think saying W Don and Spicebush have no downsides is deceiving. Even if she does it easily, W Don still *has* to charge Rip Space for it to be usable whatsoever, and then spends that charge so she has to recharge.
      Spicebush also has to charge S2, and has to spend tremor count on combat start, so he has to be at 6+ tremor by combat start. In a similar way, he needs tremor count on himself (which he spends on S2) to reach his damage cap on S3. Less important is the potential of a tremor boss spicebush feeds.
      Ninclair being a negative sanity ID does have weaknesses, but he rolls better than the other two IDs and requires no charge or set up. Managing sanity is his issue but Spicebush and W Don have issues too.
      I have all three of these IDs, but my W don isn't built up. As for rabbitcliff? He does insane damage, but he doesn't clash nearly as consistently as Ninclair and gets worse in long fights.

    I think I accidentally deleted my comment when trying to submit it, here I go again.
    N corp is a pretty cool faction, with their own three unique meaningful status effects, versatile 00s, extremely powerful 000s and... Meursault. Excluding Meursault, this is what I hope most 00s and 000s in the game are like from now on.
    Funny thing is, there was a time where I really wanted N Meur, I believe he was the first really tanky 000 and the idea of having a unit that doesn't die sounded really fun. Nowadays we have other options and I'm instead obsessed with Sunheath so I don't mind not having him as much. Not even giving him any way to trigger lust effects was definitely an interesting design decision though, resonance on passive doesn't help.
    Once again great guide, I think I'll have to give Don and Rodya a shot after this, seems pretty fun.

  • @Flygoniaks
    @Flygoniaks 11 місяців тому +1

    So, fun fact not a lot of people know about! The three skill affinities of "The One Who Shall Grip" (Gloom, Lust, Wrath), happen to be the same three affinities boosted by the three "Token" E.G.O gifts found in the chapter 3 dungeon, which is _definitely_ intentional. By doing a "completionst" run of the dungeon, you can end up with a horrifically powerful Sinclair that gets like +4 power on every single skill and has a few other perks as well. On top of that, if you bring "The One Who Shall Grip" to the Kromer boss fight, Kromer is automatically staggered on the first turn.
    Also, I have two tips I highly recommend for anyone using TOWSG Sinclair. First, make sure _his level is as high as possible,_ so he doesn't gain sanity when enemies of a higher level die. Second, I also recommend having him be the FIRST slot in your party, so he always gets extra skill slots before the other Sinners, which he can then use to more easily control his sanity.
    Lastly, I know you absolutely hate Lifetime Stew, but I will actually play devil's advocate for using it alongside TOWSG. You see, the corrosion variant of Lifetime Stew has a quirk where it targets the slots of _the units with the least HP._ So, with careful management of Sinclair's sanity, you can potentially force a Lifetime Stew corrosion on a turn where it would only hit the enemies. Is this a _good_ and _consistent_ stategy? Probably not, but I still think it's VERY funny, and sometimes run it alongside my Liu IDs since they all resist blunt (just in case I screw it up).
    Lastly, something I want to note for future videos: at [15:55] where you mention the effect of Impending Day's corrosion, you might have forgotten that the "[Failed Kill] Gain 3 Attack Power Up next turn" effect is _only available at Threadspin Tier 3._ Not everyone is going to be able to fully Threadspin all of their E.G.O (I'm personally keeping all of mine at Tier 2 to save the Thread), so in future guides, you might want to make note of when a particular E.G.O effect is only available at Tier 3 or above (Don's Telepole is probably the most important of these to note).

    • @kaskozhuk4158
      @kaskozhuk4158  11 місяців тому

      As of the most recent update, you actually don't gain additional sanity from higher level enemies anymore.

    • @Flygoniaks
      @Flygoniaks 11 місяців тому

      @@kaskozhuk4158 That's only halfway true. You still get a flat +10 sanity if you kill an enemy of a higher level, and +5 if an ally lands the killing blow instead - it just no longer scales based on the level difference. I've been using TOWSG Sinclair in the hard mode Mirror Dungeon, and this sanity gain still makes it harder to keep him low on the later floors.

    Not really relevant to the video but fun fact about Meursault, being a French character you actually say his name as 'Meursaul', without the T. In French you don't usually say the last letter of words or names. And for his Großhammer identity, It being German inspired, it's pronounce as 'Grosshammer." It's hard to explain in text, but it's said the same way but with an S instead of a B, so not Grass Hammer or Gross Hammer. This is because in German their S and Z are pronounced the same so when they want the hard S sound like in English they either use a double S (ss) or use an eszett which is the B looking symbol (ß). Just thought that was neat that. And it total doesn't pain me a little to hear people mispronounce two languages in one breath.

    Isn't the strongest ego in the game sunshower for yi sang?

      Sunshower is harder to fuel because it requires more resources to use. In terms of actual power, Sunshower is stronger, but Fluid Sac has more IDs that fuel it and also grants party-wide SP restoration, which is the one big thing that Sunshower lacks. (I know its passive does this, but not very quickly)

      Sunshower is the best ego in the game, the passive is +3 sanity for the entire team every turn. Not other ego comes close to this level of op except the one that brings you back to life once.
      This is a godsend for the final hard mirror dungeon fight who is going to be throwing 5-6 rolls that are going to need 20+ to beat, since you are going to dip in heavily on ego that need sanity. Which means you basically need faust to cast emitter or fluid sac every turn
      So to counter you need either a ego or a skill 3 that can roll higher than 20
      It's important especially to use each ego once, that way you get the passives for the rest of the fight, these passives are always active no matter what, and your sinner also gets tankier by getting the sin resistance

      @@xblade11230 okay but would you rather have 15 sanity over 5 turns or 15 sanity immediately

      @@ihave2cows Sunshower has additional effects, including AOE BUFFS to all allies 2 turns
      And after 5 turns you break even, every other turn after that it keeps paying out
      So yeah you pay the cost one time, and after 10 turns you already restored 30 per member.
      You generally don't want to use big EGO's multiple times, you want to use them once to gain the benefits or if you do need to beat a crazy high roll ability
      , and then use the rest of your resources for base egos which normally roll high enough to win clashes and has no sanity cost. (Most of the benefits for these big egos comes from the resistance benefits and passive)
      In long fights these passives will pay off, and Sunshower has a minimum roll of 18 vs 16 for fluid sac. So you could use it to block a weaker attack

      [Before Attack] Give 1 Sloth Power Up, 2 Sloth DMG Up, and 3 Protection to all allies this turn and next turn

      @@xblade11230 most combats dont last much longer than 5 turns (if at all) unless you're challenging yourself with a solo run or you're playing hard content. If you're playing hard content, you likely will be using an EGO every turn.
      Also, its easy to miss the patch notes, but zayin EGOs were nerfed. They cost 10 sanity now.
      More importantly, as a general rule, more sanity immediately is a lot more valuable than sanity over time because getting sanity capped ASAP is important for winning clashes, especially in hard content. Even if sunshower gave 5 sanity per turn, for the purposes of sanity generation fluid sac would still be more valuable.
      Personally though, I don't think either of them are the best EGOs in the game. They're both obviously great, but sunshower only really shines in specific teams after the bug hotfix, and Faust's identities are starting to fall behind the other sinners when it comes to teamcomp compatibility. (ncorp faust is always good as a support unit, but not always as an active team member)
      imo, the real winner is ebony stem. Hits like a truck, synergizes with two/three different archetypes, boosts itself, and the passive is both insane for rupture synergy and it can keep a boss permanently crippled even without it. Its perfect for mook and boss battles. Plus, seven section outis works on pretty much every team and is one of the best clashers in the game.
