Etalyx is a great and wonderful guy and i feel so bad that was probably his first impression to so many people. It was definitely a misfired joke, bless vinny and ross for trying to lessen the weight on him. I really hope they bring him back (and vinny too, he definitely put himself out there to help etalyx) cause he works well for the game and adds to it.

I think Jerma wanted to end on the Mario and Luigi battle as a finale. When it fell apart he didn't wanna end on a bummer so he continued, and no one wanted to be like "aight I'ma head out" despite the vibes getting pulped.
i find it interesting that the contrast between the comments on this vod v.s. the vod from jerma full streams channel is so stark. like, people did *NOT* like this stream on the jerma vod channel, some dubbing it the worst stream of the year whereas here, the atmosphere here doesnt seem at all like that. though opinions on the the etalyx thing seems to be more or less synonymous, though with (i feel) a bit more vitriol on the jerma vod channel personally, watching this event unfold through vinny's pov was really entertaining and apparently more tolerable compared to jerma's? it definitely helps that vinny kept grouping himself with less people than jerma did from what i could gather, giving viewers more time to breathe i havent really watched jerma's pov, but it must've been so much more stimulating compared to vinny's
Yeah I've watched jerma's vod and it wasn't very enjoyable for me for the most part. There was too much stuff going on at all times, jerma spent most of the time being lost, dying, or being surrounded by too many people doing bits and it felt like he wasn't enjoying himself very much and didn't really know what to do with himself. There were a few good moments, but the chaos made my head hurt. I haven't finished watching vinny's vod but I'm liking it so far, it feels like he's enjoying himself and it helps that he's spending some time on his own or in smaller groups.

Jerma and ster both had a bad time because they weren’t expecting it and it really changes the game to have this many people. It’s understandable and really not an invalid perspective.
So having a lot of people made things kinda hectic and one person ruined a bit, ok. Do the people making such a big deal of it even like streams? Sometimes things don't work out exactly as well as you imagined, that's the thing with doing this kind of thing live. I'm not saying it has to be an echo chamber, but if some chatters are going to get so disproportionately upset when something doesn't follow a script they should watch prerecorded stuff. It was a fun watch for me, I'm glad Vinny tried to end things on a more positive note, and I hope the "drama" doesn't sour these kinds of streams for him or any of the others.

After watching both I can safely say I got sensory overload watching Jerma’s, Vinny was a lot more chill even in the chaos
@UA-camExecsTouchChildren idk why overstimulated is in quotation marks considering it literally happens every time he plays w too many people- ster was even more calm than vinny and his pov was still overwhelming because he and jerma know none of these people really and vinny has played with a few of them before.
Ster said that before the stream he and jerma believed it was like three more people- vinny and maybe poke invited way way more because it just got around i guess. Jerma and ster both had a bad time because they weren’t expecting it and it really changes the game to have this many people. It’s understandable and really not an invalid perspective.

The shovel thing was a massive anti-climax but the bees part did a good job of sort of making up for it
So having a lot of people made things kinda hectic and one person ruined a bit, ok. Do the people making such a big deal of it even like streams? Sometimes things don't work out exactly as well as you imagined, that's the thing with doing this kind of thing live. I'm not saying it has to be an echo chamber, but if some chatters are going to get so disproportionately upset when something doesn't follow a script they should watch prerecorded stuff. It was a fun watch for me, I'm glad Vinny tried to end things on a more positive note, and I hope the "drama" doesn't sour these kinds of streams for him or any of the others.

@@PleasantLeech I feel like the best moments of this stream still came from small groups and their little interactions, like last stream. The real humor never came from a huge group yelling in a circle.
@depalodor yeah, that's fair. Doesn't really bother me too much. Especially because when people break up, you get so many little stories with so many different people.
