How do you know when to launch Pekka in the back ? New player here, I only use it in response to the opponent's cards, in case opponent launch a big push in the other side
Think about the next move ur opponent makes if u pekka at the back and if u can defend it. For ex, they might mega knight at the bridge, if I have battle ram i can kite it over and pekka at the back is safe. If he has giant in hand and goes all in other lane, it might not be good to pekka at the back. Remebering what cards ur opponent have in hand is crucial. Currently sitting at top 6k in the entire world with Pekka
@@Deepfknvalue Thanks man 💪 I know there's easier decks to play, especially for a beginner, but from all the archetypes, I definitely prefer to control the game and be able to defend everything and counter push (without having to defend with very cheap elixir cards like hog 2.6, it's scary...). From all the decks I've seen or played, Pekka bs/control is probably the least forgiving if you make a mistake, but if you don't, you never lose a tower. Just need to unlock some legendaries, as I only have e-wiz, no bandit/ghost/marcher etc... And no Evo wizard, using the regular one ftm (i'm at 4000 trophies ...)
you do it when you are up elixir so you take advantage of it. The p.e.k.k.a. moves slow and allows you to make a big push from the back. Never pekka in the back against hog rider or any type of beatdown deck. They will just pressure the other lane and the. you lose. So summarizing, you p.e.k.k.a. in the back when you want to make a push and you know your opponent either can’t attack because he is down elixir pr because they just wasted their win condition ( in case of hog you just do it in the former because they can always cycle another one)
One thing from me, an average player, but i try to learn this lession. Pekka at the back when its safe can be a good play, but make sure ti never overcommit. Like at 49:00 I would have gone zap and marcher, still do nothing and get punished for it probably with a tower down.
A good way to know is when the opponent doesn't have their pressure cards up, against logbait it would be after they used Princess and Barrel so they can't do anything about that pekka going to them or punish your tower. Most decks have "defensive cards", when your opponent ONLY have those defensive cards in hand then you can just pekka in the back so they can't use them properly, they'll need to waste them to cycle to their offensive cards. But usually you'll do better when you focus on counter pushes, pekka dual lane counterpushes are deadly at every skill level
