@@HalHartQGIS Hey man thanks for reaching out. I was trying to get the buffer to change from Degrees to meters. To solve to this problem i selected to same layer I wanted to add a buffer to, then export the feature as an ESRI Shapefile and change the CRS to the Corresponding layers I am working with. After saving that new shape file, I then added it to the existing layers and the buffer worked. Maybe you can illustrate that in a prospective video.
If you are here, don't waste your time with that video, no malice intended but it solves nothing Download MMQGIS plugin. Click on it from the menu tab, select create, buffer and specify your parameters It's great ☺️ Thank you
many thanks man! you're the only one with a good solution. all other youtubers suggested to change the coordinate system in order to be able to change degrees in meters..
So I did a few other videos on this as well check out 109, 111, 118, go to my channel and type in CRS. It will bring you to the revisitations of this topics. I'm switching internet providers right now so I won't be able to, upload but I can answer any questions you have from my phone.
Hi Hal, Thank you for the help, but, still give the "error " of degrees. I create the layer: 1-Temporary scratch Layer 2-then save the layer as a Shapefile important or open several times and diferents ways 3-last time like u post-it in this video, but still nothing the same degrees... I saw in the videos (see again all the videos concerning the layers...etc... ), and the video The type of layer that you created is a Polygon layer, and the meters come out, like me, but if you try to create a Point layer, The (degrees layers appear again. rsrsrs... The solution that i can see if the Buffer dont work (probably because of the errors of my QGIS), is to create a point layer, then duplicated and enlarge the size. But in this type, i radius in not correct. Thank you once again for the help. Keep up the good work

I added the layer from scratch and it still showed degrees. Requesting another video with an actual solution to the problem.

Thank you
Watching the videos below, I resolved the problem:

simple. thanks a lot!

You're a saint.
top, thx
Processing -> Reproject layer and change into the right CRS then you go back to the buffer and it is in meters..

It works. Thank you. I suggest objectivity in the videos, so, we like it.
It worked! Thank you so much!
Keep creating such videos for students

Hi I'm new with QGis.I solve the problem using source coordinate Pseudo-Mecrator.
pseudo changed it in meters, but my points now are elsewhere...
do you tutor?
Yes mam
@@HalHartQGIS how do I go about inquiring about getting tutored today? I have a project I need to finish and I’m stuck
