Birgit Nilsson - "Abscheulicher! wo eilst du hin?" FIDELIO (Beethoven) 1973

The famous Swedish soprano, Birgit Nilsson, visited Australia in 1973 to perform the opening concert at the Sydney Opera House. She also toured with the Cleveland Orchestra under conductor Lorin Maazel and gave recitals with Australian pianist Geoffrey Parsons. From her Sydney Opera House concert on October 3rd 1973 with the Cleveland Orchestra under Lorin Maazel, she sings Leonora's aria "Abscheulicher! wo eilst du hin?" from Beethoven's FIDELIO.
