    "8 trades in July. 6 or 8 in June." I love this style of trading. I'm stoked to set up my excel sheet to begin tracking top gainers data within Steven's preferred criteria this week. Thank you for this interview! Maybe in 1 month I'll be ready for Tier 1 or 2. !

      He can afford to love this style of trading when he has millions, more than enough to retire without even earning.
      Having said that, in trading, less is more.

It was amazing to hear your story and its awesome to see you in this video inside your home with your family speaking about the stuff Im also dealing with. Big thumb up. And Dux dont tell us you didnt think of “easy money“ at the very beginning like everybody else :D Steven one last thing, its amazing how you treat with your students, keep going this way because thats the difference. great video. One question: how much was your (i) winning % (ii) avg reward, (ii) your capital/ trade for Bounce short ? I am currently tracking bounce short and I have (i) 80.6%, (ii) 20% (ii) 5000 (when i get more confident i will increase this) . I am curious to compare to see if i am missing something and improve.

    • @MiguelCardenas-xu2dw
      @MiguelCardenas-xu2dw 4 роки тому

      Hey! From what I have seen in Dux stats the winning % looks correct, (ii) I don't have yet enough stats to back the avg reward up, (iii) about capital per trade, are you going in with the same capital every single time? ($5000)

    • @user-cx1pl7jc8m

      @@user-cx1pl7jc8m I would be sizing in every trade regarding the risk % I set from my total account, lets say my whole account is 10,000 and I set to risk 1% per trade (1% to 3% is whats recomended) and Im looking to short at a price of 2.00 with my risk at 2.20 and reward at 1.60, because my risk is $100 per trade (1% of 1000)... my position would be of 500 shares ($100/$0.20 risk per share) or $1000 bucks the total position but I know Im only risking $100. For the "easy" trades or the ones you are more confident with this risk size might be smaller, allowing you to go in bigger positions, for your "difficult ones" you could set the risk a bit wider (I wouldnt even trade these), if you follow this mechanism for sizing in you can become more consistent, have a better risk management and be less emotional about how you are sizing... this is just my advice and also how dux has thought it, hope it helps

      Ruan Schalkwyk well it may encourage you to be more aggressive but that’s not the point of taking less trades. He takes less trades for a simple reason, there are a limited amount of A quality setups in the market and when you understand by backtesting how often those setups are likely to occur it doesn’t give you emotion to trade you are simply taking a risk with statistics in your favor

    Dux, your knowledge of PDT is LACKING.
    How daytrade reset - This affects:
    1. Scaling in the trade
    2. Scaling in the next trade/
    Forcefully leaving the trade - when a play occurs but your daytrades isn't enough to scale in a trade
    3. A greater exposure of breaking the PDT rule (freezes your account 3 months)
    Given you are under PDT rule, your account is relatively small. One of the major factors

    • @adriandoe1090
