Tips: 1. Dark prismarine is hard to find, and you need to build 2 different farms for it if you want to automate it. However, the best replacement for dark prismarine is warped wood, because it has both stairs and slabs. 2. Use scaffolding if your building this in survival. Especially on the second floor. You cant place scaffolding on slabs and stairs, but you can place temporary blocks (eg. Dirt, Netherack, Cobblestone) to be able to place more scaffolding 3. Sea lanterns are also hard to find, but some replacements are glowstone and shroomlights
@@clwilliams9276 That's gonna be alot of copper, I just checked the required amount of prismarine needed and it will be around 6696 coper ingots that you need to create to replace it all.
@@humlenissen2 copper is so common, u could get that pretty easily over the course of 2 to 3 nights of gameplay. Seeing as I play nightly. I'm gonna take at what u said as a challenge. That's what, almost 105 stacks? Psh, I already have 2 chests full not to mention the silk touched blocks I can use my fortune pick on when I log in. (I don't take all the copper I see and I often actually avoid it to not clog my inventory, so ik a lot of places to find it too). Oh wait. Doing the math, 2 double chests full of copper ingots is actually the perfect amount. I already have enough.
this tutorial is actually amazing. straight to the point, easy to understand, and not even that long. some other youtubers could build a house in 15 minutes, but its way smaller.
Hey dude, appreciate your hard work and tutorials, im currently building a japanese old city with a friend with all your designs on an smp minecraft server on an island, im using your style to make my own smller houses as well, its just amazing how it all slowly comes together and it starting to look amazing, thanks again for you hard work and inspiration u gave us
Yo blue, I remember when you first posted the Japanese house tutorial about a year ago? I made it and it turned out great. Good to see your channel has grown!
Hey blue! I dipped into a stream of yours that you had right after you released this build. Back then your build style was just as good as it is today, especially with the Japanese architecture. I’m hosting a server right now with my friends where I’ve built almost all of these builds of yours (except the castle). Love the content!
Amazing works! I had built this probably 2 or 3 weeks ago, and it's actually quite hard to estimate the distance in the previous video. Nice to see this remake, it should be helpful to other people
cool bat skin! i changed the jungle wood for oak (couldn't find jungle wood nearby), but it looked cool i also replaced dark prismarine, so i used cobbled deepslate very cool tutorial!
Thanks this one is much easier to follow❤, I don't have to pause 1000 times , I only build to relax so I'm not very good with Minecraft so I need to see every step to be able to build 😄
I just finished this in survival on a server with my friends. Didnt tell them I was building it until I was done and had everyone come over. There is shit all over my walls now lol THANK YOU DUDE
Thanks for the tutorial!! I love your builds. I replaced the prismarine with copper, which turns green over time and it very easy to find, especially in 1.18.
great to see you redo this tutorial as indeed it was hard to follow at times. Thank you for your content, it helped me alot to adapt a japanese-inspired style since I enjoy this kind of architecture alot!
i love this tutorial its easy to follow for me! the only thing id recommend you do is show the entire build without shaders, texture packs, etc. before you start the build. and maybe recommend different materials for those who cant get shaders and stuff (only if necessary). since i can only play on console i cant get shaders
I recreated this beautiful Japanese house and impressed everyone with it. Unfortunately, the server was closed unexpectedly and I developed a deep depression.
Hey! I am playing on a server with my friends and i am planning on making this house when i get good enough stuff to get the materials! Still can't believe how well made this is! Definitely subscribing to the channel!
Another replacement for the dark prismarine is red nether brick, it may be hard to craft but still looks amazing. Also it makes you look like a villain. Edit: Stone bricks work too.
Thank you although mine looks very different I used a lot of calcite and copper with diorite and birch to create one that was white and green primarily! It looks awesome so thank you!!
Just finished the exterior of this house. But now I plan to do not only its interior but also the entire Japanese Compound as well. I've got a village nearby for me. P.S. I used red nether brick instead of dark prismarine. The house still looks good as hell.
Another replacement for dark prismarine (exept wrapped wood ) would be the mangrove planks stairs etc. It would also give a more Japanese vibe because of it's (red) colour.
Hey ! I love your tutorial on Japanese buildings ! at the moment I have made 2 and I am trying to adapt one to be smaller :) I have just one question, do you plan to release a tutorial on how to make a Japanese bridge? thanks !
Amazing Work I'm Still grinding for the materials lemme edit this once I'm done building in survival Love the build!❤️ Edit: done building it at survival For 6hours + 6hours grinding total at 12hours Ty for this inspiration I still need to build the interior cya!
The jungle wood steps got me on the trim...didn't see you used slabs...also polished sandstone doesnt look like that on vanilla so i used quartz....thanks for video 2
i just finished making this and wanting to start on the outside. If you will make a remake of the exterior guide with measurements, it would be awesome! i will also try and do your other guides. Greatwork!
Both videos were pretty good. But using texture packs on build tutorials isn’t the best idea. I used quarts instead of sandstone walls and the ochre frog lights worked gooo in place of sea lanterns although hard to get in survival and using warped wood in place of prismarine was a great substitute.
When I was new in the chanell, I made the first tutorial, and when I see you publish this video I've thinking: "Ohh I'm gonna need to change something to my house", but now I see that this is a best way to make this beautiful house ✨✨🤟
Hey bluebits, love your videos, it gives me great inspiration to build. Quick question, what resource pack/texture/shader do you use, I would love to use it
Me, just building all of the builds: yo, whatever you put out, I’ll gladly build. Yeah, some are more difficult, but that’s part of the fun. Also me: they will never see my stuff, so I dunno how much they’ll believe this
Im building this house but im using mangrove wood and waxed oxidized copper blocks. It really gives it a nice weathered/mountain feel to the build. I cant figure out what maxed mangrove though. I guess spruce?
Me now on day 30 since i began to build this house. I play on survival mode and man i dont find prismarine or enough warped wood or even dark oak. I'm thinking to quit but i love this japanese house and the interior. This would be a year project.
Almost two weeks on a survival server but almost done with this build I'm on the roof now and holy shit I feel exhausted lol also instead of smooth sand I used white concrete for the walls

I use a green oak of the nether, i'ts literally best xd

Japenese village in the next video pleaseee
Thank you for the tutorial! I switched the prismarine with cherry planks and stairs. So i can have a nice pinky house.^^ Looks great with it too!

Replacing prismarine with pale oak looks good

yeah the castle is nuts to build in survival...
Glad you enjoy it!
You have talent dood!

I just finished your original one…. I would have loved some of this clarification, but all things considered you still do an incredible job!
cool bat skin!
i changed the jungle wood for oak (couldn't find jungle wood nearby), but it looked cool
i also replaced dark prismarine, so i used cobbled deepslate
very cool tutorial!
I love how you make it so easy to understand, thank you bro. Also, you got yourself a new subscriber
So glad you remade I’m building the old one too lmao
Thanks this one is much easier to follow❤, I don't have to pause 1000 times , I only build to relax so I'm not very good with Minecraft so I need to see every step to be able to build 😄
Love this build it looked great in my japanese world thank you so much
Thank you so much! It looks so cool
Best Tutorial channel ever
I just finished this in survival on a server with my friends. Didnt tell them I was building it until I was done and had everyone come over. There is shit all over my walls now lol
THANK YOU DUDE
I changed dark prismarine to black stone for a more aggressive look and its insane.
Love this build. Changed out all of the prismarine for warped wood and everything acacia for mangrove (I love the red vs the orange)
made it once and gonna make it twice, love your vids
Beautiful tutorial and build. Love the way you label in numbers and love not too fast. Great job! So glad I found your channel

@@angelvergara4468 I’m using white concrete instead of smooth sand stone

Best build ever🙂
I built this in survival as a Base
Another replacement for the dark prismarine is red nether brick, it may be hard to craft but still looks amazing. Also it makes you look like a villain.

I spent 3 days building this and it was worth it

Really want to know how to build the pond and tree around the house. Thanks for great work!

I'm two years late but in hardcore!? That's crazy
@@stitchb12 Yah, I died in that hardcore world btw.

I don’t like that colour
@@marlonheeraman1964 try blackstone. It tured out fucking sick
everything pairs with black, no matter the architecture
LOL. Wish I'd known about this video last week! I redid that roof 3x!

Loved the video! Do u have any plans for an interior remake tutorial?
I literally just made this yesterday wth the timing
i built this in survival.....but i def used /give for the supplies as soon as i started trying to get the dark oak needed
What would you recommend to replace the barrels/loom/blast furnaces with if I don’t want to have to worry about villagers syncing to them?
not sure. maybe just a diorite counter?
Do you think this would still look good if I use the 1.20 cherry blossom wood for the roof instead of dark prismarine??
remake part 2 too please! thak you!
I built it on a Pixelmon server... and today I fly around there randomly and find exactly the same thing somewhere else on the server. :D
Can you do a decoration and yard tutorial, please?

I like the Japanese architecture
I think birch doors and trapdoors are better than spruce doors and trapdoors for a japanese house
Could you post a decorating video? I'm having to pause and play alot to get it all 😅😅
How do you get such nice lighting with BSL? Like, what settings are u using? My bsl doesn’t look as good as yours and I would like to know how
