So I'm in a constant battle with myself asking is it safe here ... and at times it feels very safe and in other times it really doesn't...There is a part of me telling myself that my soul is internal and no matter what will happen I'm okay... and another part of me that wants to be in control and keeps me alive which says just leave this place here in Israel. Good stuff. This is exactly what is taught by Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, and Eckhart Tolle, amongst many others. This metaphysics is called Non-duality or Advaita Vedanta. Peace.
Because we ALL are a drop, a sliver, a spark of the all eternal spirit. Therefore, our loved ones are YOU having a different human experience. Spirit is all there is. When we transition, we return to the source so there is no reason to "see" them.
I agree with the poster that these videos never explained whether we will see our loved ones again. The explanation that we are something like simply a water drop from a much bigger source doesn't seem to quash the longing and need to see our loved ones again. I think that it is necessary for us to see them again in order to know that they're okay. There's something very "empty" in the "we are part of the bigger source, so it's not necessary to see our loved ones again" explanation. The thought of reincarnation is not a comforting one......... We love our loved ones, because they became an important part of us, and we do not want to eternally separate from them.

Interestingly, I've never regarded the state of being aligned with life as "the top", never thought about it that way because there is no ego left in me. To me, the alignment is not a peak or summit of searching, rather a plateau where the water is so still that anything new is absorbed in the water in a peaceful and grateful way. Also, my spiritual experience is not only about sitting still and meditating in the morning or evening, I've been through hells that fractured my bone and sucked up my vein. Im a schizophrenic. I do doordash for extra money. One order at night, i arrived and walked to the door, placed his food down and took a picture. I got in my car and drove away. 30 minutes later he called and asked where his food was, i totally remember taking the picture at his doorstep. So he took it up with Doordash. An order later, i opened my back door and.. saw his order. I was so confused why it was there. I remembered everything about going there and taking the picture. Appearantly i hallucinated the whole delivery. I was there, but must of never left the car. What was i doing then?? Staring blankly at the windshield? I called him and apologized but he already got his refund. I felt so terrible. Im on medication and nothing works. It just goes to show how easily some misfirings in the brain can completely alter your sense of reality.

Does no one else think this sounds awful? To keep coming back as another person and going through life again, not remembering your past life. This seems so pointless and we can’t even prove that this is the case. If we could it would make a little more sense. But even if this was true, what is the goal? To grow? Why? And why would living as a human on earth be the best way of growing? And also the guy in the video said we can’t escape it. Im a schizophrenic. I do doordash for extra money. One order at night, i arrived and walked to the door, placed his food down and took a picture. I got in my car and drove away. 30 minutes later he called and asked where his food was, i totally remember taking the picture at his doorstep. So he took it up with Doordash. An order later, i opened my back door and.. saw his order. I was so confused why it was there. I remembered everything about going there and taking the picture. Appearantly i hallucinated the whole delivery. I was there, but must of never left the car. What was i doing then?? Staring blankly at the windshield?
I called him and apologized but he already got his refund. I felt so terrible. Im on medication and nothing works. It just goes to show how easily some misfirings in the brain can completely alter your sense of reality.

Does no one else think this sounds awful? To keep coming back as another person and going through life again, not remembering your past life. This seems so pointless and we can’t even prove that this is the case. If we could it would make a little more sense. But even if this was true, what is the goal? To grow? Why? And why would living as a human on earth be the best way of growing? And also the guy in the video said we can’t escape it. So we’re basically being forced to go through something we don’t want to go through? I don’t want to keep reincarnating as someone new and start again, even if I won’t remember. This sounds awful.
