LUMBER PRICES July 2020 vs July 2021 | HOW MUCH has it really DROPPED

EDIT 08/10/21 - Since this video was posted wood has dropped (in my location) 2 more times. 2x4x8 went down to $4.82 and as of 08/10/21 now is $3.98 1x8 not dropping in much if at all. Plywood and OSB is dropping but not as quickly
Are lumber prices still up? Here are my receipts for what I paid in 2020 for lumber vs what the price today after then most recent price drop this week.

Materials in general have gone up significantly causing everyone to raise their prices. But,you really have to wonder….why the shortage ? 🧐

Funny thing is Ive seen lowes have thousands of 2x4's out back as excess inventory
