What happened to Christian Eriksen’s defending?? In Italy, Antonio Conte taught Eriksen how to do proper defending, to give everything you’ve got attempting to get the ball from the opponent player. But now in Man. Utd., Eriksen has gone back to “not really trying”-defending as in Tottenham too

Amuses me how Man U fans actually take Ten Hag's side and speak on it being the players fault when HE handpicked this team haha. Onana(mistake prone GK), Martinez(availability is the best ability but he never is), Varane(they seem to have a terrible relationship body language wise), Casemiro(stated he regrets coming at all), Eriksen(was known for lacking athleticism coming in), Mount(actually like him but unavailability most of the season, Antony(no caption needed), and even insisting on a front 3 of Rashford-Hojoind-Garnacho even though stats are literally showing Hojlind is getting no service bc he is playing forwards at winger instead of the actual wingers that were on the team before he got there(Sancho, Amad, Pellistri)....He humiliated Maguire and karma exposed that was ill-founded bc Maguire literally stabilized the season when healthy and NOW Ten Hag is having to backtrack and admit Maguire is indeed good enough....he CHOSE these players that have underperformed this year haha. Their play is a direct reflection of his decision making.
As I said many times, for me Ten Hag has ticked all the boxes of why he should get sacked
But I don't think anyone, and I mean anyone, will be capable to fix the damage
So, United is really f'd up, because Ten Hag get sacked or not, it doesn't matter

Ten Hag needs players that suit the system he wants to play. So far, Ten Hag is the one adapting to the players he currently has. In his interview with Gary Neville, Ten Hag says that he wants his players to try their best to play in his system, instead of them having to adjust to a more pragmatic style of football. I believe Ten Hag’s the manager they need right now, as he’s handled all the clubs setbacks very maturely and professionally.
If that is true then go for Tuchel now - he knows what to do with this sinking ship.
He failed to do anything about Chelsea and Bayern sinking under his command. Doubt he'll be able to do anything about the mess that's United

Antonio Conte would turn them into a well drilled team and with some of the players they have got if they are well drilled and fully fit they can achieve anything in my opinion just look at sancho away from United there are a lot of good players there

The only manager that could have truly succeeded Ferguson and steadied that sinking ship turned them down ten years ago. Ferguson wanted Klopp to take over after he retired but Klopp saw something in the club that he didn't like. Since that time, every manager that has tried has failed miserably because they didn't have the right personality to control such a massive club and infrastructure.
Entitlement has brought nothing but failure to the club. United need to rebuild from the ground up as if they are a small club again. Set expectations at realistic levels and build, build, build. Always looking for quick fixes by spending lots of money and not looking at the roots and culture of the club. That needs fixing first.

All the players he signed, except for Hojlund and Onana, are playing badly this season and a manager that can't get the best out of his players any more is usually a manager that's about to lose his job.

We were 2nd with mou and then dropped down to 5th or so 2 n 3rd with ole and then down to 7th now 3rd with ETH and then down to potentially 8th that os progressive decline after pump seasons from a new manager and the dip usually happens when the manager finally decides to implement dominant football and the players fail to cope and the board in turn fail to back the manager and show faith in the process an new coach will come and we'll most likely go down to 11th before we realise there are no shortcuts to success.

Thomas Tuchel does not have the nerve to manage the pressure at Man Utd, United should give Erik one more season. Tuchel is not a united kind of manager. Eric isn’t a bad coach. it’s the club that is detailing him. So the problem at Man U is beyond coaching it has more to do with recruitments and the fact that the owners are more concern about revenues than performance on the pitch.
