I'm from Brazil and I love MLS. I see a lot of emotion, quality in the organization of the league and I found the Seattle Sounders' "overcoming" turnaround incredible. My favorite team. But the biggest enigma for me is why American people don't like football. Sport takes a backseat. The USA is a power in hundreds of sports, but football, which is global, has little interest.
I don't think people hated Morris -- it's just that they thought there were much better options for the national team. The same is true for Jesus ferreria. They are good players for MLS.

It's as simple as that. If they wanted to wave whatever flag they wanted to wave, they could just simply go to the game. It's THAT simple. It's not rocket science.
