I had the feel that from one day to the next the playercount kinda dropped from 2.5k to 1.5k and I don't get it. I hope they do something about it, because it's a great game which is alot of fun...but not as much against bots. Perhaps they should start the round with 4 teams, if they can't find other teams ready and make the game happen in a smaller circle already. I don't wanna win against bots, so this would be a good solution until something like crossplay drops (if this will ever be a thing). EDIT: This seems to be a PC thing only, that the playerbase is so low. Like that, crossplay doesn't even benefit other platforms at all and makes it more unlikely to happen. I hope this issue gets addressed at some point, that the game can also survive on PC.
Tbh fam this game feels like every other anime game that’s come out in the past decade. It’s a gacha where you can’t really play the characters you want just cause they want as much money as possible. Like I wanted to play compress from the beginning but when I got him he was bugged. The alpha didn’t really work at all and half the time when I was close and using it the damage wasn’t done. But it’s not like only because it was buggy that people left or you can barely use the characters you want without pulling them. It’s also the fact people play sweaty all the time. I can’t hop on the game and have fun without my teammates playing crazy and dying early or having the enemy team chase me down to oblivion when there’s a full squad attacking them. The game is fun but people are getting tired of the battle royale format as well. Tbh the only anime game I’m waiting for is Dragon Ball Sparking Zero but even with that I’m praying they don’t lock too much behind either a gacha system or dlc. Anime games at this point want nothing but our wallet. It’s cool the game is ftp but it’s annoying that I have to summon to play the characters I want.
@@zcargill3 I can see that. I never had really issues with not having the character I like to play, but of course others would have, considering the weird unlocking systems. In the end it is a f2p-title. Characters are the main-appeal and the best way to generate money. It's understandable, yet I agree with your point of view. I think we are now at a point, where players are so good, that new players don't have a lot of fun anymore, when trying to understand the game. When I started I was honestly overwhelmed by so many mechanics - with the difference I started the game at release, where alot of others learned the mechanics themselves. This isn't the case anymore and I doubt that peeps actually hop into ACTUAL bot-queues, to try the game. So we basically lose new players AND long term players as well, caused by the increasing bot lobbies and gacha-practices. I wish this isn't a one-way-road, but when the devs don't do something quick, it probably is.
@@Lawrence741 for me personally it’s not the case that I’m not good with characters but the characters I wanted to play either weren’t good or their abilities didn’t really work so it killed my drive. Stray has videos of Aizawa that show him not working at all and I thought I was bad at first too but he didn’t work at all. I personally loved when Aizawa came to the game but he wasn’t working and he was lacking in a lot of categories. They fixed it now kind of but I don’t have him unlocked so it’s pointless to play the game for me. It’s nice the main people are unlocked by just playing the game but it’s a bummer that you have to chance it on unlocking a character. Like what happens if they bring Kamui to the game. I can’t freely play him unless I roll for the chance instead of earning him. Edit: Tbh as well I would be okay with the gacha aspect if the characters worked or weren’t just op on launch. If they keep it up with how they’ve been doing (like when they added endeavor) I’ll play it more but I think many anime game fans are just over the nonsense. Like idk what it is but developers aren’t caring as much anymore. Like I’m seriously worried about Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. If they do any kind of bs where they lock characters by saga packs or dlc it’s going to kill my drive.
@@zcargill3something awesome about this game is that the devs actually do seem to listen and care, they fixed so many bugs that the community was reporting which is an amazing step forward. i will admit i understand why some people may be frustrated at why they cant play their favorite character or why their character "isnt good", but the game has its own way around these things. for the first issue, ur given up to try-out tickets that fill to a maximum of 3, and each refills about every.6 hours or so, meaning you're allowed to play any character, whether you have them unlocked or not, at least 3 times a day; which is about the amount of games anybody (besides grinders) play a day. as for the second issue, practicing and having good teammates who help you fulfill your role (like being a good support character due to decent teammates) can make your character feel so much more "op". In the end, I think it's very important to remember that this game is still relatively new, and barely on its second season, so it makes sense for it to have some flaws. The game is know where near dying but they do need another map maybe (villain hideout) with stage hazards like gigantomachia that can be triggered. Maybe add another game mode and they need to commit to at least 2 Character releases a month, the roster should be huge plus if it was bigger people would not mind the gatcha system on most character unlocks
Nope, game is pretty much dying. Especially on pc I can't have a full lobby of people at any point of the day. What do you mean there were 10 million downloads but the game can't match 24 people together? It's sad cause I love this game.

Even in duos, the game is still crammed with bots, in fact most of the time, there are only 2 actual player duos in the lobby and the rest get filled by both, the lobby time is also insane, sometimes we wait more than 10 mins for a game only to be filled with bots
on console I find a match after finding players adds up to at least 1 to 2 at most 4 minutes . 5 if almost no one is playing at the time but almost always 1 to 2 minutes to find a game and fill up lobby

my hero ultra rumble is a great game but its so poorly managed. it took them so long to fix the bugs, late season rewards, etc. they also should've give a warning or notice IN THE GAME for shadowban. people dont usually go through twitter or wherever to find news except for the hardcores. i also dont know where people see the patch updates. they should put it in game. it really feels like it was managed by an intern. it is one step closer to the grave now. i cant see it getting more players soon. i believe it does get new players everyday but they quit the game because its hard to find lobbies because of low players count.
Tbh I have kinda dropped the game. Only because there is nothing to work towards and rewards for playing the game are so slim. Can't get costumes because it's the same rate and ticket as characters. And using tickets on anything other then characters fills like I'm doing something wrong.
"can't find full games" Yea. That's cause the playerbase has hemmoraged to nothing. Barely 1500 people playing in the middle of the day on PC. Bot lobbies will be all we get soon.
I don’t blame people for getting tired of the game the rewards are shit and everything is locked behind a hatch a system even the characters and they hardly reward tickets, a lot of the community is toxic af it just is what it is
Rapids need a nerf I'm tired of losing to kicks and spin to win like much rather when Tsu was Meta the Other Rapids going make people quit why stay if you die the same way in every match great. Game but my opinion but only people that. Don't know how to play main those characters and abuse them is stupid
This literally applies to all heroes tho in general. "LOL TODOS ALL DOTHE SAME SHIT" while they press gamma and kill people in 1 second. "LOL ALL MIGHTS ALL DO THE SAME SHIT" as they jump really high and rain down rediculous damage ranged attacks every 5 seconds. "LOL ALL IIDAS DO THE SAME SHIT" as they alpha close to press beta twice, run away like a dipstick for 5 seconds, then do the same thing until you die. See how that works?
1500 people playing? That’s terrible bruh. After 10mill downloads.. 1500 people playing? Cmon man. lol less than 1% of those players who downloaded are actually playing.
Theres just not enough content in the game, only 1 map, stingy with roll tickets bugs that have yet to be patched. I love the game but its no wonder its falling off tbh. Me and my friends sometimes sit in the lobby for 20 minutes for a match on xbox.
I've been noticing it recently too it's soo rare now to have over 75% of the lobby to be people

That's how it always goes, PS always has a higher playercount on all anime games compared to pc, kinda sucks for us pc players.
Just so you know stay, Bots dont use the costumes
Game is doing a lot better than Dragon Ball The Breakers so glad, that game is struggling right now barley 300+players lol
I'm now trying to learn uraraka
I blame Stray!!!!
I had bot lobby since day 1 heck it was way worse day 3 because I play at night and found like 8 bot lobby's In a row
my hero ultra rumble is a great game but its so poorly managed. it took them so long to fix the bugs, late season rewards, etc. they also should've give a warning or notice IN THE GAME for shadowban. people dont usually go through twitter or wherever to find news except for the hardcores. i also dont know where people see the patch updates. they should put it in game. it really feels like it was managed by an intern.
it is one step closer to the grave now. i cant see it getting more players soon. i believe it does get new players everyday but they quit the game because its hard to find lobbies because of low players count.
Im having way more fun in unranked, less hackers, less bs even for rookies its great
Have gotten way better at the game also watching you play certain characters ❤
Tbh I have kinda dropped the game. Only because there is nothing to work towards and rewards for playing the game are so slim. Can't get costumes because it's the same rate and ticket as characters. And using tickets on anything other then characters fills like I'm doing something wrong.
I wish I could unlock endeavor, Im slowly getting better with him, Im on console btw
its still many players in jp server
On console i havent seen any bots
No one’s gonna talk about how zoro cheats he plus ultra back to back
"can't find full games"
Yea. That's cause the playerbase has hemmoraged to nothing.
Barely 1500 people playing in the middle of the day on PC.
Bot lobbies will be all we get soon.
So Stray. There are alot of Playstation players so you can find A good game on PS4 or 5
I don’t blame people for getting tired of the game the rewards are shit and everything is locked behind a hatch a system even the characters and they hardly reward tickets, a lot of the community is toxic af it just is what it is
Next time please play whit allmight
I have been playing much because of other games tbh
I think most of the player base is on console.
Rapids need a nerf I'm tired of losing to kicks and spin to win like much rather when Tsu was Meta the Other Rapids going make people quit why stay if you die the same way in every match great. Game but my opinion but only people that. Don't know how to play main those characters and abuse them is stupid
bot lobbies cause people are sick of the aim assist me and my whole agency quit 14 of us game fell off
Oh my god all Ochaco's do the same shit lmao
This literally applies to all heroes tho in general.
"LOL TODOS ALL DOTHE SAME SHIT" while they press gamma and kill people in 1 second.
"LOL ALL MIGHTS ALL DO THE SAME SHIT" as they jump really high and rain down rediculous damage ranged attacks every 5 seconds.
"LOL ALL IIDAS DO THE SAME SHIT" as they alpha close to press beta twice, run away like a dipstick for 5 seconds, then do the same thing until you die.
See how that works?
@@Am4t3r4su this proves my point on why this game is dying. None of that is fun
The good ones use their Gamma and Alpha them when they are floating then Beta for huge dmg. I am not a good one though xD
I think her beta needs a nerf
Nerf Bakugo
1500 people playing? That’s terrible bruh. After 10mill downloads.. 1500 people playing? Cmon man. lol less than 1% of those players who downloaded are actually playing.
Play on ps4 there’s only sweats
Bots dont pick up anything, so you mostly downed real people. Also anyone with a skin cant be a bot.
I fell off this game. Same map over n over gets old.
the gacha shit didn’t help either
@dejiware if you could unlock characters by default and the gacha for just the skins I'd be cool.
Theres just not enough content in the game, only 1 map, stingy with roll tickets bugs that have yet to be patched. I love the game but its no wonder its falling off tbh. Me and my friends sometimes sit in the lobby for 20 minutes for a match on xbox.
