@@carrentalcoach I'm in Canada and its ok, July was 59% Margin, August looking to be 50%. We have incentives from Turo to do free Airport delivery which helps a bit.
I was a host 3 years ago. Went well. Had an extra car just sitting. Now, in today's economy, I question if this is a recession proof biz. Or, will it do well in a recession? Note: I live in a big city that is a semi-popular vacation destination. Thoughts?
Turo host here, for every dollar u make on turo, you NET 30 cents on avg, after all expenses and taxes. I have yet to find a turo video on YT that actually shows NET + or - numbers
@@carrentalcoachwhen you refer to 30-50% net profit. Are you equating your earnings from Turo minus expenses or are you equating your revenue minus Turo’s percentage and expenses?
Excellent video, best I’ve seen on the topic !!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. I agree with you on the pros ane cons. Thank you Peter for sharing the video.
Thank you for watching! Happy to help 💪
People make more money coaching on UA-cam than renting on Turo
Some people do! We make money renting cars and coaching.
Yea my highest margin was about 60% during peak times but if your in a area that has slow seasons you may not always get the margin you want.
How is your fleet doing now?

I think as long as you have an economy car and are not over extending yourself with a large car payment you can do well!

There's no reimbursement for interior wear and tear on Turo?
Only under the 60 plan!
So 60/mn to cover that?
Turo is a terrible place to put money and time
It’s not profitable anymore…
It all depends on your systems and how you buy your cars.
Agree these UA-camrs are misleading
