Hi Ritu. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer and is being treated for the same for 4 months. Now his MRI and EEG says his brain is almost like a normal human being but from few weeks he has started showing symptoms of schizophrenia and is fully convinced that his family specially me and my mother wants to kill him. At the moment when writing this comment he is at hospital receiving his 4th cycle of chemotherapy... He shouts on every one in the hospital.... It's still uncleared that he is suffering from schizophrenia... tomorrow a psychiatrist will visit him to check... My brother is schizophrenic. Doctor gave him aripiprazole but he wasn't showing enough signs of being normal he is completely lost in him self,laugh all sudden , makes new plans to make money but no shower always wear dirty clothes doesn't matter if we bought him new. I am a schizophrenic from last 15 year. I accepted that and taking pills from last 14 years. The only change which i saw is i sleep a lot and that is the reason i take the pill so that this voices dont let me not to sleep. In the other episode Dr.has clearly explained schizophrenia symptoms and patients who accept their condition and follow treatment and patients who won't accept they have the disease and argue. It is very difficult to make them understand and take proper treatment . They shout on others for no reason and it is difficult for family members to face people. It is very necessary to make society also aware of the disease and cope with. Also high dosage prescription in rehabilitation cause lot of side effects.
Some one here has said that Cariprazine(carispec) helped him a lot. Can Dr. suggest whether it is suitable for any schizophrenia patients with Dr s consultation.

I recommend not to stop the medicine. My mother took medicine from 2014 and closed it on getting normal in 2019.... But sadly she got the disease again in 2021

Socially disengaging, they hear voices, they feel they are victimised. They don't mingle with people much, in some cases suicidal thoughts will come. Depressed or not able to concentrate, they feel they are being followed or someone is watching them etc. my brother has this disease

After father's illness and death my mother became a patient ..she was violent ..after 1yr we connected a doctor who told us it was nt just depression it's seizo effective disorder..then medicine continued she cured after 2yrs but again it came back then continue with medicine for 8yrs now continuing..now doctor says it become chronic schizophrenia..she is no more violent all nrmal but speak alone ..where should I go or continue with medicine as past?is it really possible to overcome for her in this life?

There is no 100% cure for this disorder it happens due to Harmonal imbalance and Medicines play a very important role in keeping the harmones level in place and patient can live a normal life. However, treatment is very long may be lifetime but never stop treatment in between otherwise the symptoms will resurface again.

Have some unrealistic thoughts. Always try to think positively but the negative thoughts don't leave me behind. Always try to keep good behave with others in any situation. Anybody please help me ....3 month ago at night i was so destrub by my anxiety disorder and then suddenly what happened i dont know but it so complicated i remembered after i waked up in the morning i thought my mother mother is stranger in my mind but i know its not true but my mind always convince that my mother my family is stranger but for this my bp is getting High day to day ... And sometime i thought its fake world i come from another world but i know in my mind that is its all is not true ...and sometime i think i have personality disorder and then many days go but i dont get cure and i go to pshychatric clinic and thry sayd it all a GAD part i now i take medication for two month I realised its all is fake what i think in that night in my bad nowi realised that i had schizophrenia and now i cure and healed to normal state but i think why pshychatric said its gad part so now im confused what happened to me in since that day to now so please someone help me to get out of it and live a normal life please
