this movie was the catalyst to getting better for countless UT players. the piston jump on lavagiant was legendary back then. i can still taste the sweetness of it 11 years later. golden.
Can't believe this has only been watched 6k times in 3 years. This video grasps so many memories of my childhood. This video was the bomb back then, and for me, it still is and always will be. It makes me want to hold a LAN party and play UT99 all over again. But who wants to play those old games these days huh... ;-)
This was one of the great UT movies. At this stage, there were only basic frag movies out there and this one showed the creativity of zulg. It was one of the first to show the understanding of "moments" in matches, rather than just good frags. The directing was excellent and obviously a lot of work went into it, with great effort into visual and audio timing. It certainly deserved its legendary title for UT movies. It was an inspiration to others.

i joined [KRU] in mid 2005 i want to say with Panther, Rayden some others i cant recall at this time. This is 1mperium[KRU] you might have been before me though
For Fooze themselves, I think they were the best all-round clan. They played from Sweden, which meant that they sometimes had 100 pings against their (in particular) German and British rivals, who had 20-60. It really makes a difference. There were not many clans who could compete at CTF and TDM and fooze were real contenders for both. zulg was the most creative and diverse 1v1 player. Using weapons and tricks that nobody else did. The most outstanding of all players for me!

ahhh college memories. I played in the Unreal Pimps clan [UP] for any of you old folks out there. We played CTF on OGL. I remember getting our butts kicked by c1 clan (Kravnos, Nova, Apocalypse, etc) in a few matches.
I just created an account to tell you that you are wrong. Sweden, England and Holland had always the best pings. While most countries would have 80-100ms they would be sitting at 20-30. Get your facts rights, Sweden is the European country with the fastest internet speed.
