Thanks for the video. I didn't know there is such a stretch of eateries, probably because I'm usually at the green line side. BTW, that is not a pandan cake, but a Pandan flavoured CASTELLA cake. Maybe that is why you find the texture different.
Can try eat changi village hawer centre,there have many nice and delicious food too
castella cake is another category of its own and it is made famous by an episode in demon slayer. originally from japan and was made famous in taiwan. there is a castella cake shop in paya lebar square that is popular.

oooh I don't think they covered it but there's a customise your own bibimbap shop near the 7-11 at the downtown line side of bugis! they have great affordable options available and the fun is also in shaking up your bibimbap to mix everything together

I'd rate Cafe Kook a 3 because the $5 curry chicken noodles is a bit hard. Jalan Tua Kong Lau Lim Meepok is also a 3, the OG is at Bedok.

I knew it ! When you were about to eat the Jln Tua Kong mee pok, I watched your reaction. True enough ! You found it TOO SPICY too . I live in the area & tried eating the mee pok. Found it waaaay too spicy. The next time I, I told stallholder I wanted only a bit of chilli sauce but it was still very spicy. I stopped going there.
