Played this in a short story book club and we all had a great time laughing about it. 10/10

You could *technically* say since 1967 when STARTLING MYSTERY STORIES ran "The Glass Floor."
(I, uh, I enjoy spewing my King trivia)

I love Stephen King's confidence to write and publish every random thing he can think up, like a lot of his ideas are absurd? But he makes it work? It makes me wonder what drafts of stories he DIDN'T decide to publish lol like if this is what he's comfy putting out. (I realize how mean girly this sounds but I'm not being mean, I legitimately love his work)

He trashed Carrie and his wife literally picked the pieces of paper from the bin and asked him to finish it.

Pity the movie didn't even mention the original story. No wonder King sued the pants off of New Line Cinema.
This as a film (probably) wouldn't have been half as bad as they ended up with.

It's hard for you to understand. But that movie was meant to become. Stephen was only mad because it was the 1 movie he didn't have full control of.
