do you have a full version of this tutorial? There’s a part missing and i hope to learn it. :( the part : Like a river flows Surely to the sea Darling, so it goes Some things are meant to be. can you do a full tutorial on this part?
Hey amosdoll, I’ve been playing piano for about 6 months now and have gotten quite good for how much of a beginner I am from what my musician friends tell me. I was wondering how you add those notes at the beginning so easily. I know you stay in the key but I don’t know how to make it sound that perfect. If it’s too much music theory to put into a comment than can you please point me at a UA-cam video that I can watch to learn it. I’m very passionate for the piano and am happy to spend as much time as it takes to master it. Thank you sm
Your tutorials are always my favorite because they are great for beginners but they sound so full and really make it sound like not beginner level the way it’s played. I appreciate you and your videos so so much and you play and teach SO wonderfully! Thank you!! ❤
Can you do any rex orange county songs? Especially happiness. Thank you for being an awesome teacher. I owe everything to you. Keep it up ang more power.
Hey Amos and the rest of the comments, I’ve been playing piano for about 5 years but I feel like I hit a roadblock. I’m not having fun and don’t feel like I’m improving, but I love the instrument so much. I much rather prefer these tutorials and being able to play lots of different songs, but even though I have a good time I feel like I won’t improve. Is this true? Should I play what I like or try to improve? Please let me know what you think.
Don't give up yet try to buy a new piano(not nessesary) but it helped me and try learning new songs you don't know and also practice in your free time If you feel you are losing interest try playing new instruments Good luck :)
Kind of late, but here's my perspective. I took piano lessons for 12 years, and got extremely burnt out. Part of the reason for that was that I rarely learned songs I liked; I just played progressively harder songs from lesson books. I have rediscovered how fun the piano is by learning fun songs like this. I say find songs you like, and try to learn them. For every song, there are harder versions for you to master, so you can "easily" improve just by attempting more difficult versions of songs you enjoy.
What I’ve learned is that you have to balance the use of learning and doing what you want to do. I am learning the piano and also doing lessons. I might prefer tutorials of songs I do, but the lessons help me become a better pianist.
Agent Scrambled I think you should definitely play what you like and once you truly feel that you are not as good as you can be then you can definitely try to improve but you should always play what you like not matter what keep playing and keep learning but you should always have fun with it
Learning Music Theory is key, trust me your creativity and love for any instrument will reach new heights. At first it will be confusing but if you keep at it it will eventually click.
Thank you for this! It was our first dance at our wedding. I tear up every time I hear it. I'm nowhere near to being ready to improvise like you, but I will keep practicing
Hey ! I really love your tutorials ! one suggestion : sould you add the notes like a# b#the letters note in the screen when ever you are speaking ?It would be more easy ! But really Your videos are just damn good !!!
