    I have this sub paired with the jbl srx815p and i gotta say there is so much head room with that top and this sub. I never come close to peaking or limiting even at a high spl level. If anyone is thinking of getting this sub I will highly recommend getting it.

    First of all, thanks for the review 🙌🏾👍🏾
    As a mobile dj, I loved the Ls801 from the first time i heard them yeeears ago, they're a bass lover dream come tru , i RENTED them a few times, i didn't Buy them bcuz of the same Cons you mentioned👉 (weigh, loading into transport challenges, etc..), but i think I'm going to get these new bad boys ES18P for all the PROS you mentioned. ( they're Still HEAVY, but more loading friendly, more handles... )
    thanks again, i got all the info i need from your review

      That's why I did it! I've used it about 8 times already and I LOVE it. I would recommend this thing to anyone in mobile looking for a powerful sub. It's so much easer to load in and out now, really happy with the changes.

      drummerboy100jh ive been rockin the new ES every gig. Its so much more forgiving and cleaner especially in smaller wedding venues. I sold off two of my ls801’s after getting the ES. Ill never look back! As far as comparing this sub to any other mobile sub.. there really is no comparison. You’ll need two of most any other if not any other mobile sub out there to output comparable low end from one of these. We have two RCF subs and they are super clean, punchy but when it comes to rock your face off bass... Yorkville is in a class of it’s own!

    Great Review, I purchased my Yorkville ES18P and while I was torn between the LS801 and ES18. All that kept going through my mind was the point that you made about the ergonomic aspect of it.
    The ES18 sounds amazing! and it fits in my mini van with the rest of the equipment. For me that was the deal breaker.I don't think you lose any performance compared to the LS801. I took a chance and so far I'm very pleased with the outcome.

  • @MultiEnoch123
    @MultiEnoch123 6 років тому +1

    The Ls801 sound good when you pair em with ls2100. I think Yorkville purposely did that for a reason. Ig the ls2100 is supposed to be the lowend and the ls801 is supposed to be the hard-hitting punch

    • @MultiEnoch123
      @MultiEnoch123 6 років тому

      remember to eq ls801 for best performance. don't think of using it for live band unless you add the ls2100 with it simply because the ls801 doesn't go low enough and play lower notes efficiently as the ls2100s.

    • @bryanbernstein7552
      @bryanbernstein7552 5 років тому

      TOPCHOICEDJSELECT Monoblend will take two stereo inputs and blend them together to create one mono output. Its unecessary really for most mobile applications.

    • @bryanbernstein7552
      @bryanbernstein7552 5 років тому

      TOPCHOICEDJSELECT for weddings a such you’ll never really notice it. I run mono all the time and you’re not missing much. Maybe in a live sound application you would want to run it but I personally don’t see the point.

    • @TOPCHOICEDJSELECT
      @TOPCHOICEDJSELECT 5 років тому

      Bryan DJ JUNIOR ok, last question how are you connecting two tops and one sub? Still unclear on the back of the yorkville. I only run stereo.

    • @bryanbernstein7552
      @bryanbernstein7552 5 років тому

      TOPCHOICEDJSELECT thats where mono comes in. Pick a side and run your xrl out to the subs solo input. You’ll be a-ok. Todays music isn’t recorded the way stuff was back in the day. Years ago it was common to have separation on l/r channels (the beatles for example were big on this). Most club or dancy music you will play (and even most older stuff for that matter) will sound just fine mono and you’ll never notice. If it were tops it would be a different story. You can also set your serato software to output mono taking it further where all channels are sent in true mono.
