like Sweden, we have several recycling bins in Japan as well. Paper, glass, PET bottles, cans etc are separate. Hopefully the world will take on the importance of recycling. Thoughtfulness may save the planet (and you don't have to be a tree hugger to do it) :)
In Australia it recently (the last couple of years) came to light that most of our recycling was actually being shipped overseas to China on return ships - as the ships would otherwise be going back empty so it's much cheaper for the "recycling" companies to do that. Then China basically said "we've got enough of our own waste, not taking anymore of yours". So it all started getting stockpiled in warehouses and tons end up in landfill. SO disheartening. Sadly heaps of Australians don't even realise how backwards and regressive a lot of things like that are here. In most European countries, there are multiple recycling bins, and if you try to put the wrong thing in the wrong recycling box, you'll get fined. The reason we only have one? Because it never mattered in the first place - it was all just being shipped off somewhere else for other people to deal with.

Thank you so much for the excellent video. I have been watching videos about Sweden for a while now. I have never been there, but I have been to Northern Europe. Some of the Swedish people say that it is rude to talk to strangers and that is something that is not appreciated in Stockholm or anywhere else in Sweden. This is more of a custom than an attitude according to what these Swedish videos say. Did you come across any of this during your trip. Perhaps the Swedish are different in the summertime.

Hey Ryan. We’re on the road at the moment (and I can’t sleep) so your question might get missed by Phoebe but I know she’d love to share what she does with you. So I’ll do my best for her because she LOVES her Figs. She keeps them in a spot that receives good broken sunlight daily, she uses fertilizer she gets from her earthworm farm and I’ve even seen her gently cleaning the leaves with a water spray bottle. She also makes sure they are in a position where a wall supports their weight so they can grow up without bending over. I hope that helps... comment again and I’ll show her to see if I missed anything :) Matt

I'm going to sweden this summer and i have a question. They are rude if you don t have an accent? Like english is not.my first language and I'm insecure so yeah... and i have very bad anxiety.
What we saw and experienced was the Swedes are a loving, open, accepting people who celebrate and welcome diversity. Those we spoke to believed strongly in equality 😊 I would say you have no need to be insecure! Thanks so much FG!!! Hopefully we get to do more of Europe this year. We’re doing a live video from Japan this Friday 25th January 8pm AEST! We’ll be trying food, talking about our Japan trip and answering questions. Hope you can join us 😍🙌🏻 Phoebe x

Great vid about my home country! But maybe not tell people you´re a travel dogger, that can easily attract the wrong kind of attention.. =)
Where you in other places in Sweden except Stockholm
Yes we went to the archipelago as well!
Hello
Love your video! But it can be a bit diffrent depending where in sweden you go and when, i hope you will come back to Sweden but then go to Gothenburg ond the surrounding area, its the second biggest city but its alot nicer and alot nicer people. We have bigger amusementpark here and alot of stuff happends here and alot to see here. Of the countries there english isnt the main language we are of one of the best countries speaking english, top 3 is is Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Thanks for watching and sharing 😍

Thank you so much for watching and for the lovely comment :D Phoebe x
Wow!
Thanks for watching ♥️
Thank you so much for the excellent video. I have been watching videos about Sweden for a while now. I have never been there, but I have been to Northern Europe. Some of the Swedish people say that it is rude to talk to strangers and that is something that is not appreciated in Stockholm or anywhere else in Sweden. This is more of a custom than an attitude according to what these Swedish videos say. Did you come across any of this during your trip. Perhaps the Swedish are different in the summertime.
All the locals we met were so lovely and welcoming and friendly. Everyone we spoke to was happy to chat 😊🙏🏼
I wanna try Kanelbullar😅 looks tasty
hahaha it IS tasty!! You gotta try it!

How do you get your fiddle leaf figs to grow?
Please Make a meet when will you come again. I Shall bear all expenses of your tour.. Seriously :)
Thanks for watching Agha!
Equality has already been addressed? Well, no, really. Sure we've come a long way but I'm sad to say we've gotta a long way to go still. In statistics we've actually dropped a place or two.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. So much praise! I'm getting excited myself and I live here! Thanks!
Thank you so much for watching :)
Well, and yeah, since "dogging" means eh.. something else in the UK, you might want to find another word....
😂 As I’ve now learned!! Hahaha I had no idea until people started commenting!!
Nice video! Which place did you visit?
Hello! We visited Stockholm, Uto and some other beautiful spots in the archipelago! We’re doing a live video from Japan this Friday 25th January 8pm AEST! We’ll be trying food, talking about our Japan trip and answering questions. Hope you can join us 😍🙌🏻 Phoebe x
Is september a good time to be in sweden to travel? I like the city to be busy itself
Oh gosh, I’ve only visited the once so I’m not sure! 🙏🏼
Guys have you looked beauty of the host?
Thanks so much for watching!
Loving your videos but just wanted to say, I would avoid saying "travel dogger" anywhere near any Brits, it doesn't mean anything to do with dogs over here!!
hahahaha amazing advice! Thank you! I once went to a dry cleaner in London to find out the price of having something of Matt's dry cleaned and asked, "How much is to have pants dry cleaned?" ... it was very awkward and I really didn't understand why until a good friend, dying laughing, explained it to me hehehe
Hi Phoebe !
Hello! Thank you so much for watching 😊🙌🏻 hope you have a great day. Phoebe x
Saludos desde Colombia te ves muy bella 😍😘
Thanks so much for watching!
The best about Sweden is that we have no deadly poisonous animals. The only way to die from a bite is if you are allergic.
so... the complete opposite of Australia? hahahah :D
Why did you go to Stockholm of all places
Haha we flew there, spent a couple of days then headed out to some really beautiful islands! It was awesome!
Loved this video! Is it safe for a solo female traveller? Xx
Thank you so much! We visited as a couple but based on the experiences we had, I would feel comfortable going back again by myself :)
Little Grey Box ah amazing, thanks! I really want to go in November for the Christmas markets but obviously things are so uncertain right now... I live in London and think we’ll be going into lockdown again! 😭
Xxxxxx
@littlegreybox What bank did you use for no fees?
ING! If you use code DUJ652 you can earn a reward if you are Australian. I hope it helps!

You should be proud to speak multiple languages 🙌🏻 it’s not easy to learn English and it’s so amazing you have! Believe in how awesome you are and don’t ever let fear diminish your light 😍
One thing she forgot to mention: its Ee-keh-ah. NOT Eye-kia!
Hahahaha yesss! So glad you commented this!! It was one of the first things I asked a local when we touched down 😂🙌🏻
Nothing about ”allemansrätten”? I thought that was the most important thing about my Sweden. Well well... I seem to have a good life here in Sweden.
Wow! Had to Google that 😌
I have not used cash in 20 years
Wow! That's impressive!
