    This was the first book by Jung that I read it took me a year. Since then I have been a student of Jung’s work which has helped me to understand a great deal about myself. He is without doubt one of the towering intellects of the 20th century whose work is ever more relevant.

    Two hours in and already I have had a couple of epiphanies.
    1. Christ is so pure, he has no shadow BUT the shadow is infact to reveal itself through the AntiChrist.
    2. Evil does not exist because it does not come from God, evil is simply that which diminishes good.
    Though I don’t fully understand, something clicked. Jung is remarkable.

      After having a vision" This is my son with whom I am pleased " Jesus goes into the dessert to fast to validate the vision and get answers there he engages his own shadow( Shatan) but it's interpreted as Jesus being tempted by the devil to cover up ( to the reader) that Jesus has a shadow.
      Eve is tempted by Satan ( another attempt to cover her shadow)
      Job tested by God through Satan ( to cover God's shadow)

      No where does Jung state “Evil doest exist “.. just the opposite.. Jung ‘s main disagreement with the Catholic Church was their denial of Gods ‘evil”’ and projection of all evil on to man..

    • @amanofnoreputation2164
      @amanofnoreputation2164 4 місяці тому +2

      But Jung _criticized_ the doctrine of the privatio boni.

    • @DevelopmentofAvoid
      @DevelopmentofAvoid 4 місяці тому +1

      @@thealchemistdaughter3405I wasn’t quoting Jung. But he does explain someone explaining “evil doesn’t exist at all” at 1:59:40. My understanding of this isn’t perfect I admitted, btw.

    • @unknownrader17665
      @unknownrader17665 3 місяці тому

      Even Jung couldnt state something static, so the minimal level of "respect" would be to assume that even although your epiphanies are great as a insight touch, for your own self, there is many other variables within the whole spectre.

      Maybe some unconscious gods can do what they do in the light but they don't like to because it requires a particular relationship with the its qualia for it to exist alongside the light in your attention and not be forced away like oil in water.

    currently in an "altered state" due to enjoyment of something responsibly, and happened to stumble upon this. I am but a common working man who often times doesnt understand himself, even less often understanding of something like this, yet wants to, how can I go about actually digesting this? i dont want to speak for anyone else who may sound like they relate to my subjected socioeconomic living conditions, but i think i just missed the window somewhere to learn how to understand this stuff. and please if you reply, reply in true internet nature. let this be a work of art with people replying in their own way of people being people. be kind. be mean. say something thats trending. make green texts or some sort of weird ig set of photos idek, some guy whos kind of figuring out the whole Truman Show with Jim Carrey is kind of real
    Tl:Dr so what was cool about this to you? a lot of thankful people on here, and i have no idea what it is. share what you enjoy about this to a person who isnt familiar, because its enjoyable to just read someones passionate words for something. Thanks

      Why would you say so? Even Jung had public speeches where he didnt mentioned the same topics that he did on the books that you were supposed to have prior knowledge to dive into. Jordan, like also Jung did, understood that to reach the masses you need to have more appeal, and that lead to a whole spectrum of actions...
