One reason why they're so hard to find still complete is because until the GameCube era, the boxes and packaging were all made of cardboard, foam, and paper. People back then also weren't aware of how valuable video games would become, so therefore they didn't care.
You forgot Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Odyssey. Plus the Mario Kart, RPG and Dr. Mario games are not even part of the main series of games.

Yep. I would of not opened Mario 1, 2 and 3 if he had that one. I would of held on to them unopened and collected them and put them in a trophy case glass in a man cave or something. Especially if they were the original copies from the 80's!

Pretty sure these are resealed. Because Super Mario Bros on the NES is incredibly hard to find sealed and will cost $20,000 at minimum
