One of the best Death Battles yet, definitely top 5. I love how much care was put into the animation, how much lore is taken into account and how massive both their armies are. This wasn't just a battle, but a full on war.
If they told me 90% of the funds generated from the Kickstarter went into finishing this episode, I would believe them. Easily one of the best in the show’s history.

Bro, what do we even bro? What do I even say about this battle!?!?! The reference! The characterization! The sense of scale and velocity! So much personality! The music being hype as hell! The fact that this had so many alternate paths that they had to animate the alternate scenarios!!!! This might be in the top tier along with Goku versus Superman 3 as one of the best battles in the shows history! It’s so good!
We got the elite trio vs oorbot and cubot. AND they made bowser being worried for jr not sound incredibly corny. 20/10 Unironicly might be my new favourite episode
Either that or she's sizing up her chances. She also may be considering what life in the Koopa Troop would be like. IMO, she and Jr would get along pretty well if they settled their beef in a healthy way.
Twice during the battle Bowser showed why he is King of the Koopa. He protected his troops from Infinite using his magic and at the end he JUMPED IN FRONT OF A DEATH STAR LASER to protect them then at the technical cost of his life.
I mean, I dunno if I'd say he TANKED it. He definitely tried, but "tanking it" kind of requires, y'know... surviving. Sure, it didn't stick, Sage did straight-up kill him with that shot.
This feels less like an ordinary Death Battle and more like an event for the show. Anyone who says they're biased, you're fucking insane, the passion put into this episode is clear as day.
The alternate scenarios are cool, but I assume they would only show up for matchups like this one where the characters just have so much at their disposal it couldn't all feasibly fit into the base animation
My reaction to Bowser winning is almost like Steve seeing Joker win last episode. I was literally shaking afterwards. Never would I have thought Goku vs Superman would be topped this quickly. Props to everyone who worked on this and big Thank You to Carrick for letting me participate in this reaction. This might be the most fun I have had with a Death Battle ever. Edit: Also Among Us vs Fall Guys is gonna be crazy and I can only imagine the smile on Capsirus’ face right now Edit #2: Also to answer Carrick’s question about my favorite episode, my favorite (mainly due to bias) has always been Batman vs Spiderman. The only way I can see it being topped is if they stick the landing with Bugs vs Mickey, which is likely with what we have seen recently

MORO creating this cinematic masterpiece of an army fight, Arthur Romeo doing EGGcellent as Eggman, Zack Watkins stealing the show as Bowser, and of course, BRANDON YATES, TYLER ANDERSON, and Victor “BURY THE LIGHT” Borba for the vocal track, GAME OVER.

- Consider that it was a NORMAL Yoshi that did that to Raphael Raven. So imagine what Yoshi the Star Child is capable of! - Chaos Emeralds giving thoughts power does sound a lot like Bowser's ability to make what he imagines real (not counting the boosts that things like Wonder Flowers or the Dream Stone provide). I guess that's what the power of the Star Children is deep down (consider Peach's immense wish power and Wario's ability to not feel like dying)? - Bowser's not wrong. Certain Toads ARE able to battle with him. - Don't worry, Infinite's fine, according to MORO. Granted, he is questioning his existence...and he got whipped even faster than MICHELANGELO. - Few things in Death Battle have chilled me like Super Neo Metal striking Bowser Jr. into the dirt _in front of Fury Bowser._ Hell, a lot of moments of sheer rage in these fights (e.g. Scarlet Witch's "ENOUGH! NO MORE SOUND!!" and Broly's "I'LL KILL YOUUUUU!!") tend to have that effect. - Taking the blow for his troops? A true king, right there. Meanwhile, Eggman (typically) doesn't care how many casualties his own army suffers. - "So long, doctor!" Also, did you hear all those 1-Ups? Sounds like his own casualties are being undone. - The implications that Orbot and Cubot were owning the Elite Trio are still hilarious. - Hope we see more of these Alternate Scenarios in future Death Battles (like, I dunno, Ash being revived via Pokemon tears or using Pokemon other than whatever he brings in). - In fact, didn't it take Eggman about a year to take over most of the world after Sonic was locked up? - Think of Omni-Man vs Bardock as the appetizer for this year, Joker vs Giorno the amuse-bouche, Bowser vs Eggman here the main course, and Among Us vs Fall Guys the dessert. (It's actually extra-funny because of that scene that we Fire Emblem Awakening players might recognize. Oh well, Lucina vs Grovyle might get its chance another day.) (...Though it is actually ironic that, after three battles that emphasize their combatants' bonds of family and friendship, we're looking at a battle between two games that greatly encourage betrayal.) - Guess there's a chance for the remaining 2022 Champion's Poll matchups to appear in the future (Captain America vs Kamen Rider Ichigo, Ori vs The Knight, Finn & Jake vs Mordecai & Rigby, Steve vs Emmet, King Ghidorah vs Deathwing, Illidan vs Xiao, Spy vs Agent 47).

I CANNOT accept that Yoshi=Death Egg strength comparison. Nobody in their right mind would ever take that Yoshi "strength feat" seriously. Raphael the Raven getting turned into a constellation by Yoshi was supposed to be a comical ending to the boss fight, not an actual representation of Yoshi's strength. I can get behind the rest of the explanation for the most part, but this Yoshi=Death Egg is just way too absurd.
@ No, Im talking about your reaction not the episode. I want to see your reaction to the fight, but the way you keep rewind it makes the video drag out. I had to skip over those, there nothing wrong with observing details you should do that during the analysis or during the result. Doing it mid battle it makes the reaction a bit choppy. But still I enjoy your reaction either way.
@@thelordofanime6150 See, I inherently disagree with the notion that the fight needs to be seen all the way through whereas it's okay to pause and rewind as much as we want on everything else. That makes it sound like the rest of the video isn't as important. I like pausing and rewinding because not only is it important to comment on the action as it's happening so folks have time to breathe, with how many people participate in these videos, it's very easy for important details to get missed. I like making sure everyone has full context on the action as it's happening, I just think it makes for a more fun experience than simply letting the fight play out. I personally find reactions that do that to be rather dull. I want to give the talented crew the credit they deserve as much as possible, and this is how I like to do it. If you don't vibe with my method, then I understand.

He completely TANKED it. The Death Egg can blow up stars. Notice there still is a planet there since he seemingly took it all into himself.
