The best, most emotionally honest and real reaction I have ever seen on Geoff's videos. You are a breath of fresh air depicting the actual effect he has on both women and men 😂
Yes, we did. We all love the Geoff quartet. This song is the first one of his that I heard and was hooked. Also led me to VoicePlay. Geoff released "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christmas. VoicePlay just released "The Greatest Showman Medley" this morning. Girl, you need to catch up.
This exact song is why I call Geoff VoicePlay's gateway drug. He draws you in (like yourself, I found him and them through this video), but it doesn't take long to realize that they're all just as insanely talented.
@@CynicalTesuji I still miss Earl and J.None. Tony is still in the mix though he no longer sings with them, but is partnered with Layne with their studio PattyCake Productions. They have some very entertaining productions of The Villans Lair.
Geoff's Christmas offering of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman is superb. And he is about to post his latest solo piece which is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and heard. Geoff is moving the women of the world, one song at a time.
I've seen fan-girling, but...! :-) Priceless!! When Tennessee Ernie Ford made a hit out of this old song in 1955, we thought of him as a bass. By Geoff's basso profondo standard, Ernie was a mid-range baritone.
@@DaveMacpherson i like how the song started right away a big smile and she had to compose herself and restart. And it starts again, and again the big smile right at the start. Doesn't seem like she composed herself lol
He's excellent with bass, but those lowest notes sound like they're down in the Tibetan Throat Voice range, which is a completely different thing, (subharmonic singing). I don't know how he shifts so smoothly, or maybe it only sounds that way to me.
God I am addicted to this mans voice for real, I thought being able to hit C2 was the lowest the human voice could get, I had a range of C2-F5 as an untrains singer and I thought that was really good. Its been a trip recently learning about subharmonics and fry allowing the voice to get down to C1. A singer who easily covers from C1-C5 is so cool, I have lowered my lowest note down to about F2 and I would like to raise my high notes up to C5 to reach from my 4 octave to a 5 ocvtave range
I looked it up, so he has a solid D1-A5 range, but if you count fry he can go down to a B0. For me my lowest subharmonic note is around F1 and my highest up in my falsetto is a F5. Sitting mine at exactly 4 octaves
Wondering how many more middle and low range singing people he got hooked to explore new depths and highs extending their range (I considered myself a baritone most of my life but can do B1 chest to G5 mixed by now and exploring subharmonics though definitely far from his strength there).
So, if you needed a little 'me-time' after this... don't be ashamed. There are loads of female reactions to this exact cover, and most of them had some physical reaction to this. Heck, even straight guys like me have said that after this there had been a physical bodily reaction to this. So no worries, this touches something primal deep within us. You are in good company. 😁😁👍👍
In his interview with Elizabeth Zharoff, he said he really wanted to be a rock tenor. Well they are a dime a dozen, even though he can and does have that range, people usually want him for his unusual bass. He is fine. Totally versatile. Have you seen him in Oogie Boogie's song?
Thanks for this reaction! I also recommend 'Blackbird', Geoff sings harmony with himself, and it's just amazing. I'm really looking forward to your next reaction!
Gabbsi Geoff started out singing at Walt Disney World as one of the characters, I believed Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. There, Geoff met one of childhood friends there, Layne who also is a singer and beatboxer. They and few more friends created an Aca Pella group named Voiceplay. They have competed with another Aca Pella group, Home Free for the show, Sing Off. Both group members are good friends. As other stated and you know that Geoff has own UA-cam channel. All his video productions are created at his friend and Voiceplay member, Layne's studio called PattyCake Productions in Orlando, Florida. Most guys like me wish that we had Geoff's vocal range in singing because you and like other women are getting flustered by his voice......lol
Just a couple of corrections (hope that's okay) - Geoff sang as Frankenstein at Universal Studios for about 10 years (although his first singing role was as a professional Christmas caroller), and he actually met Layne in high school.
How? How did you go all this time without reacting to this? Nope. Don't answer that. The good news is,,,,, you have seen it now. And that waiting time, must have made it worth it. LOL!!!
hello, from geoff castellucci: oogie boogie's song / daddy sang bass / you're a mean one mr. grinch / headless horsemann / monster mash / my mother told me / misty mountains cold / the bare necessities / mele kalikimaka / saddle up - greetings.
One of the best voice play covers is for Skyrim's the Dragon Born Comes, its just a phenomenal video. You really need to review this song! Love to see your reaction.
I saw that you've done several Morissette reactions so I think it time you give some more love to Geoffs solo stuff, such as his last release of Monster Mash, Headless Horseman or Blackbird or maybe his cover of Take Me Home, Country Road just so you have a fuller experience
É possivel sim... é que você pelo visto nunca namorou alguém com a voz baixa igual a nossa. Imagina a loucura de acordar do meu lado ouvindo uma voz assim? A ideia tá aí... a deixa foi dada, rs.
The Four Geoffs are crazy 😜 The arrangements he does for himself and his other three selfs shouldn’t be possible, yet he does it with his nearly 5 octave range. As an operatic tenor I find it extremely unfair. 😑
The best, most emotionally honest and real reaction I have ever seen on Geoff's videos. You are a breath of fresh air depicting the actual effect he has on both women and men 😂
Guess I ain't a man nor a woman, cuz I didn't react like her, I was just like "Yo, that's crazy, I gotta do that too"

The fact this man keeps making everyone, woman or man fall in love with him speaks to his talent 😂

Tim Foust said that he was working on a bass song bringing in Geoff and Avi and other bassist for a for a bass blowout. How cool would that be?
@Isaías Bastos in an interview with the charismatic voice
!!! Yesssss i've been looking forward to those three performing together :D
That would be really really cool my friend 😁😁☺️☺️
My equipment will not stand the test, but hell yah

Geoff is a bass baritone who makes extensive use of strohbass/vocal fry. He stated something similar himself.
Yeah, she looked pretty hungry there lol.
@@DaveMacpherson i like how the song started right away a big smile and she had to compose herself and restart. And it starts again, and again the big smile right at the start. Doesn't seem like she composed herself lol
He does an incredible rendition of "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" from "The Hobbit". The guy ain't Human! :-) And yes - He has a 5 Octave Range.
probably like C1-C5 right, its amazing, I can go probably F2-F5
I LOOVVEDD your reaction...I can tell how much you like him and his voice !!! I think he is truly one of the best BASS singers !!

Great reaction and an even better smile. 😁
This is at least the second reaction I’ve seen were the girl is absolutely speechless. She has no words because she’s so enamored by his low voice.

Technically all subharmonic notes have fry.

As one Geoff-struck gal to another, check him out as The Baron in 'Queen in 5 Minutes".

Judging by this reaction, you will really love his version of "The Headless Horseman"! Again all Geoffe, in 4 part Harmony!
Need more Geoff and VoicePlay reactions!

Amazing voice with full octave capabilities
This man makes me feel like I just need to quit trying to find a Woman. He won all the genes!
This was the first time I saw Geoff in anything. Before I even saw VP. I thought it was a group of identical quadruplets.
She had a bassgasm

If you like this song, which is very obvious… you should react to “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Geoff… you will melt!
Happy New Year Gabbsi!
Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well.
watching your reaction....i'm working on my low notes......hit yah latah
Geoff castellucci monster mash !
While you seemed overwhelmed by his look here, in the description he asked people not to make fun of his spaghetti arms.
It was a pleasure watching a beautiful, exotic woman such as yourself lose her mind. :D
I have 1 word Blackbird. React NOW. 😊😊
Then what everyone has said below.
I wonder how much this video increased sales of men’s tank tops in white...
Most women should have a fan while watching this.
Es divertido ver las reacciones que causa Geoff en las mujeres cuando lo oyen cantar😂
That one gave you hot flashes!
tim foust as well those guys with those voices like that explains why groups like back street were boy bands lol

Geoff has that quite an effect on the ladies, doesn't he? Your face had a pretty shade of red!
I like her at the beginning "i'm going to compose myself... nope.. ok now i'm going to compose myself .. nope.. ok, NOW i'm going to .. nope.
I to have that low bass in my voice. I sing along with hie videos a lot, really

T.A.G. Tim Avi Geoff. The dark trinity of bass. Will there ever be a collab of the three?
Gabbsi, have you listened to Geoff and Voiceplay as they do "Hoist The Colors"?!! You won't be Disappointed!!!
she has some Sandra Bullock vibe going on.
😅 Someone slipped and fell head first into a thirst trap. 😂

Yeah, Geoff kinda has 16 tones hahahahaha
You look lovely without your braces - I'll bet it feels good to have them off.
You are way behind on these videos - they've been out for months!!
