    The Barbat Ensemble features a young generation of Iranian musicians who bring a new breath to the ancestral Persian music through their original compositions. This Ensemble is composed of four instrumentalists and singers descending from renowned musical families from the Northern regions of Iran. Recently established in Europe, they propose today to an international audience a new musical experience at the crossroad of their traditional cultures, both classical and popular, and other artistic inspirations that they continuously assimilate during their travels and collaborations.

    Mohammad Motamedi: Vocal (geust Performer )
    Mohammad Motamedi, born on Sept. 24, 1978
    He has started learning singing & also playing Ney as self-taught since adolescence. Since 1997, he stated learning singing style of Seyed Hossein Taherzadeh by esteemed artist Hamidreza Noorbakhsh. Due to his interesting in Esfahan song school, he consequently has practiced & made into a role model from songs of masters such as Taj Esfahani & Adib Khansari and has benefitted from guidance of esteemed masters such as the late Dr. Hossein Omoumi & Aliasghar Shahzeidi” in this regard.
    He has activity in several groups (bands) so far, from which can indicate to Khorshid Ensembl - Sun Ensembl - (Majid Derakhshani), Hamnavazan-e Sheida - Sheyda Ensembl - (Mohammadreza Lotfi), Iranian National Orchestra (Farhad Fakhreddini), Hamnavazan-e Mehr - Mehr Symphony - (founded by himself, Mohammad Motamedi).

    Arman Sigarchi:
    He was born in 1984 in Rasht​​, Iran.​ He​ started​ to learn music when he was ten years old​. ​His first teacher was ​his​ father, a well-known musician​ in Tehran and north​ of​ Iran.​Arman​ ​studied​ ​to play ​O​ud, Setar, Tar and Tombak. For three consecutive years, 2001, 2002 and 2003, Arman won the first prize in Oud solo competition at Fajr Music Festival, which is the most prestigious music festival in Iran.
    He worked with many Iranian musicians as Mohammad Reza Lotfi, Shahram Nazeri, Hamid Motebassem, Majid Derakhshani, Sima Bina, Salar Aghili, Alireza Ghorbani to name a few, and also played in bands like Sheyda, Chavosh, Dastan, Raz o Niyaz, Mezrab, Pardis and Khorshid. He played in many international festivals such as Du Monde Arabe, The Gaude Mater, The Guitar Festival, The Glatt & Verkehrt, Morgenland. In 2009 he moved to Germany and started to teach music and hold workshops in Cologne, the city of his residence, besides composing and recording music.

    Mani Khoshravesh:
    He is a musician and composer, was born in 1986 in Iran in Mazandaran region, where it begins in childhood learning music with his father and uncle, two great musicians the music of this region. Mani later learns different techniques Ney and the study of Radif (repertoire of Persian music) with Siamak Djahanguiri.
    Mani has participated in many concerts and music festivals in Europe and in the East .It presents its first musical album entitled "Ronéma" as a composer and musician, Ronéma "Ronéma" is devoted to the music sung by Mazandaran Abolhasan Khoshrou.
    It is set for two in Paris, France.
