İve got about 15 ghost and red cherry shrimp in my turtle tank (50litre) theres only very very minimal spots of newly forming algea, i have a mini tank with a tiny lone snail in there and man even in sitting in sunlight the tank is spotless except for some new algae on some plants that the snail doesnt climb, im thinking of adding a couple of shrimp in there to clean the plants. Thanks for the vid!

@@bentleytelles7295 they were together for about 2 months until I separated them but I didn't see any aggressive behavior then however they were small. Since then I learned that my ghost shrimp were actually macro brachium which according to a quick Google search are very aggressive and will catch small shrimp or fish. Now all of the shrimp have grown the cherries are 2-3 cm and the macrobrachium are 5-6cm long (without the whiskers) but I've only ever seen the macros aggressive towards each other when they're eating. İ separated the cherries to get high quality reds I'll be putting the discolored ones in with the macros and I'll let you know if they attack them but honestly I doubt it. True ghost shrimp are more peaceful than macros so I don't think it will be a problem to put them together.

Wow! 2.9 thousands views, 1 comment only! Disappointingly.
Very nice info and nice tranquil video without any annoying background musics.

I have a planted 20 gal community planted fish tank with a pearl gourami, tons of platys, 10 glow tetras 3 zebra danios 4 corydoras and a dwarf crayfish. I've put just 2 rcs in it just 3 months ago and now I'm counting 6. Probably more hiding in the moss or driftwood. I've put an amano shrimp in there just one large and my fishes ate that poor thing 😔. How come my fishes aren't aggresive to my rcs, they're smaller than the amano, and they've bred too, and the babies, well my fishes justblet them graze around?

I have some green hair algae starting on one of my rotalas. Will 15 amano shrimp take care of that in a 10 gallon tank?

They will certainly have a good go at it. Black Beard Algae is their specialty, but they will go at Green Hair Algae too. Also, 15 is an army for a 10 gallon so they should make a real impact 💪🏻

Is there a difference between red sherry shrimp and other colored neocaridina? Because since you keep saying the color it seems like they are something special. Or why do you say the color like 50 times in a short video like this?

Nope! Red Cherry Shrimp and any color variation of Neocaridina Shrimp is just that, a color variation 👍🏻
