Great video. Inside the paper drawer, there is a release button, on the left hand side. I am always having to release because the drawer gets stuck when putting it into the printer. What is the purpose of release button used for anyway? Thanks

It's time to replace my 13 year old HP All In One photo printer. It's been a workhorse. This is pretty much like the one I have without the photo features. I'm going to buy this one. It's on sale for $99.99 at Staples. Hope for another 13 years 😂

I've tried to get this printer to do double sided printing, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've changed it on printer properties and printer preferences. Any idea why this might be happening?

Can I connect this printer to WiFi using the screen on it or do I have to connect it thru my phone?
I think you need either the app on your phone on the HP Smart Software on your computer. I think the phone app is easier.

How much does it cost for ink cartridges between 20 to $30 in Canada?
Can it bypass that and only print black ink instead of color ink cause one time one of my printers need a whole section of colors and black at the same time to print so I can't even disable the function for some printers? HP printer only use black ink cartridges instead of colours?
I don't know how much the ink costs in Canada. And I have not tried to print with a color cartridge
How fast is the scanning? Does it do double sided scanning?
I don't think it does double sided scanning. I didn't time it, but it is the same slow as other printers I have used.

Yes it does, when you print, just check or uncheck the box for double-sided printing
does this printer have an always on mode or sleep mode?
I think it is always on. The screen does turn off when not in use, but I don't really think it is "sleeping"
Can the copy be saved to the computer or file or just printed?
Try the software, Windows Fax and Scan
Can it scan and print legal size paper?
If legal paper is 14 inches long, then no it cannot print or scan that.
The scanning bed is 8.75 by 12 inches
