I am more than happy that I have been able to accumulate 44 oz. That's what makes me feel safe. Banks can crash, money can lose it's value but gold will always keep it's value. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
Beautiful!! I love the story of that first coin from your grandmother!! Good to hear it again... I have never even held a gold coin!! One day I hope to have some and I think my dream is the Buffalo.
Gold doesn't make you happy. It is just an additional way to save money without high risks. My granny saw 3 currencies crashing, survived 2 world wars and saw another currency disappearing and a worthless Euro coming. I understand why shy didn't have a savings account but always some gold coins hidden in the kitchen...
BTW I live in North America and I like the way u collect the fractional gold coins. This is what more people should do instead of trying to save enough $ to buy 1 ounce. People get discouraged if they only buy 1 ounce. Your stack is beautiful. Premiums won’t mean anything when the BRICS nations lead the world in dismissing the USA dollar, when that happens everyone will be running to gold and silver. I predict buying land and homes will only be possible with gold as our currency collapses. Nice job.
Thank you and I agree with you. If the mentioned scenario happens, premiums are our least problem. I am not sure how much the Euro countries will be affected because we started moving away from the Dollar years ago. A lot of oil and gas deals are already made in Euro or gold. I think that the USA and Europe should return to a gold standard. ✌🏼🇦🇹
I started with tenth ounce gold, and still doing so. Currently, I have 10 ounces of gold. (Philharmonic is incredible) I intend to buy as long as I work, 1/10th, 1/4 or larger can be exchanged for when too many for full ounce. Thanks for showing what is possible. Good luck, and God bless .
I am in contact with a lot of budget stackers like me. I think it is important to show what can be achieved if you are stacking on a budget. Some people think that gold and silver are just for rich people. God bless you too.
Buon pomeriggio, congrats on your first gold coin! Stacking is for the long term. You will get there. It took me years to accumulate the gold I have. Good luck!
A pleasure to watch, the Ducat that was gifted to you looks like a lovely uncirculated lustrous piece. I own a lot of fractional gold coins too, as the price goes up so does the popularity of these coins! Wonderful stack, an inspiration and thank you for showing it.
Beautiful stack! Im sure it's a good, safe but also sad feeling to see it go back into the deposit box. I have only been truly stacking for about a year although I have done some in the past and sold it back. My stash is small, just a bit of silver and gold. Congrats on the retirement stack!
Thank you. It’s sad that I cannot use my gold as paperweight on my desk in the office. 🤣 I had to pay off a lot of debts. I just could start stacking a few years ago. I wish the start in my life would have been easier but we have to accept challenges and make the best out of it. Every bit of gold is a bit of financial freedom and more than 95% of the people living on this planet have. Have a great weekend.
@@AustrianStacker Yeah, the 1/4 ounce might be the new 1 ounce. Or at least the 1/2 ounce. Maybe they could start minting a 1/3 ounce and 1/5 ounce. Certainly the premiums should come down on them.
Thanks for your comment my friend. I dig it. (now I know what that means) :) I stack for retirement but it's good to know that I could survive 2 years with my stack if everything goes wrong. That's a good feeling. Have a great day buddy
Great advice, awesome stack, amazing gifts from Granny, wonderful variety, nice to have challenges too. Nice to see the British and Spanish coins, as I really like those! Keep stacking my friend.
I have 23 years left to accumulate some more gold before I retire. :) My granny saw 4 currencies crashing and disappearing. I understand why gold was the only thing she could trust. Have a great weekend.
Great stack. Like you, the majority of my stack consists of fractional gold. My favorites are $5 United States Commemoratives (.24oz gold). Their premiums are below 5% and they come in many beautiful designs.
Thanks for watching. I love the Queen's Beasts and the Tudor Beasts series. I am very interested in heraldry. Would be great if there would also be a few European heraldic series.
Spot on. One ounce of gold costs less than ten 1/10th ounces of gold but I’d rather have ten 1/10th ounces than zero ounces. I’ve stacked thirty-four 1/10 ounce coins so far, mostly American Gold Eagles but I have 8 from the Perth Mint and a couple of Britannias and couple of Maples. This year I’ve stacked twenty 1/4 oz coins, mostly AGEs but also Liberty Head and Indian Head Half Eagles. My first love is Liberty Head Eagles, which I collect. Over the years I’ve managed to pick up some 1 oz Gold Buffalos, 1 oz AGEs, a couple of St. Gaudens, a couple of Liberty Head Double Eagles and a 1 oz gold Britannia. When I’m looking at my stack, never once have I said, “If I had saved my money I could have had one one-ounce coin instead of these eight 1/10th oz coins.”
I think we have very similar stacking strategies. Gold eagles come with a very high premium here in Austria. That’s why I have mainly Philharmonics and Britannias. My favorite fractional coins are quarter ounce coins but I don’t always have enough money left and as you say. Better to buy a tenth ounce coin than no coin. Thanks for watching.
I could just start stacking a few years ago. I wish I could have started earlier but I had to pay off debts, build a house etc. Have a great weekend my friend.
Love watching other ppl collections. Although I prefer the 1oz coin in gold there’s nothing wrong with all fractional denominations. I prefer quarters but tenth and halves are also in the mix.
I also prefer 1 oz coins. I would also buy 1 kg bars. The issue is my budget. 😆 …and my wife. If we go into a hyper inflation nobody will be able to buy 1oz coins. You could buy whole buildings for 5-10 oz of gold during the last hyperinflation. I think it’s good to have both. 1oz and fractional coins. 👍
As a stacker myself, I admire your dedication and also because I know how much hardship you put yourself through to reach your amount of gold, congratulations man!
I too am stacking for retirement, but I don't have that is much further to go. I'll retire either in 5 or ten years, god willing. I should have about 50 ounces of gold, and about 2500 ounces in silver, when i retire .... planned more but waited too long to get started.
I know what you're talking about. I should also have more but I think we are better prepared with our stacks than all people out there who do not have any savings or precious metals.
I stack for retirement as a possibility. In other words, I want to be able to replace my retirement, should it become necessary, but I don't stack specifically for the purpose of retirement. My stack has solely to do with possessing the ability to take care of myself, my family, friends, etc... into the future no matter what happens. I have zero desire to be rich or wealthy, and I'm hopeful that I'll never have to make use of my stack in any way and can just pass my stack on to my loved ones when I pass away. I'm slightly over weighted in Silver at the moment, but I had an initial goal of reaching 1,000 ounces of Silver, which I did a few years back. Even though I'd purchased Gold over the years, it was typically just 1/10th ounce Eagles and Krugerrands, so now I'm trying to catch up to my Silver value. So now I'm trying to fill a tube made for American quarters with 1/4 ounce Eagles. So far, I've got 30, but I need to reach 50. I'm also purchasing a 1/4 ounce Krugerrand in about 2 weeks, but that will probably be a separate goal. I tend to stick with 22k Gold because you don't have to work so hard at keeping it nice and unscratched. Also, in the unlikely worst case scenario, both Eagles and Krugerrands are closer to a coin composition that can be used in circulation. While I admit that's a highly unlikely circumstance, I still like having that as a genuine option. I still regularly buy Silver of course, but I just buy a lot less of it than I used to in favor of Gold. So I buy Silver for Christmas gifts each year, probably 10 to 15 ounces, and that probably equates to about 25 - 30 percent of my overall Silver purchases for the year. As a result, I rarely add more than 75 ounces of Silver to the stack in any given year, but I've been managing to add more than 1 ounce of Gold each year, which is pretty good for me. When I first started stacking, I had very little money to work with. I was literally buying old American coins that were 90% Silver because I could get those for around $5 or less. Over time, I became more disciplined and made more money, so now I can put more money into the monetary metals each month. I like your stack, though I'd call it somewhat "fancy" for my tastes. I keep everything in the raw. All of my Gold & Silver is handled without gloves, and I have no individual coin capsules. All of my coins are kept in the white and relatively opaque "Coinsafe" coin tubes, but that's as far as I go for protecting them. Everyone should stack their own way. It's not going to be of any enjoyment if you're having to stack in a way that doesn't capture your own tastes and interests. I appreciate you sharing your full stack for everyone to see. Keep stacking!
Wow, that's probably the longest comment ever on my channel. Thank you for taking the time to write it. What makes the comment even better is that it's meaningful. Thanks for sharing your stacking goals and strategy. I would not call my stack fancy. Don't forget that I am a European stacker. A lot of things are quite popular here that are not well known in the US. The variety (that's how I would call it) comes from the fact that I usually buy the cheapest coins. Sometimes it's Britannias, sometimes Philharmonics and sometimes even Cook Island coins. The reason why I put my coins in capsules and tubes is not to keep them in a good condition but to make it easier to store them and keep an overview of my inventory. A full tube is 10 or 20 coins. That makes it easier to keep an overview. Also it's easier to store the coins in a safe deposit box if they are in a container. I showed my full stack to show other stackers what can be achieved if you stack on a budget. I am a hard working guy from a working class family and I have been able to accumulate some gold coins. So everybody has the possibility to do the same. I am neither richer nor more intelligent. Thanks for watching and sharing your story. I appreciate it.
I can‘t tell you how much I miss my granny. I learned everything about money from her. She ran her own small shoo for more than 60 years. Thanks for watching. ✌🏻🇦🇹
I noticed you said you were going to store your stack in the bank, that is in general a bad idea, banks have clauses in the contracts to confiscate what is on the safe deposit box if they go under, ask for the contract and review it carefully; it is better to store it in brinks or some other place that is their main business, it may also be a good idea to keep some close to you and some more with trusted family members. Nice stack.
I'm also collecting small amout each month, like 1.875 gram per month (in Vietnam gold is measured in tael, 1 tael = 37.5 grams) Luckily for me that no premium added per purchase, close to spot 😊). I don't rush, just buy what ever i can afford each month, and it consistently added up a huge amount of gold. And i also gave up bad habits like smoking, drinking,..., now only addicted to buy gold 😁. Love your content😊
I think we are stacking the same way. Slow but steady and according to our budgets. Great that you can buy gold close to spot in your country. A lot of PM dealers are trying to rip people off. That hurts when you’re stacking on a budget. Thanks for watching. ✌🏼🇦🇹
Thank you! My grandmother taught me everything I know about money and business. She started her own business with an age of 24 and literally no money. I miss her…
The sun needs to fart only one time and all BTC are gone. 🤣 Everybody is telling me that I am missing out on BTC. That’s fine. I saw so many people losing a lot of money with crypto.
Thank you! :) It's funny because I usually buy the cheapest gold I can get. I just realized the variety in my stack when I made this video. The tube of Britannias is gone. I sold it when I had to buy a new car. Merry Christmas!
Personal I believe that platinum is going places with in the next five years and I have 8 1/2 . Four maples, kangaroo,1 1/2 eagle and two Engelhard bars. Fantastic video.
I don’t go all in on platinum but I think that it’s good to have some. Every piece of gold, silver or platinum is a piece of financial freedom. 👍 Great to meet other stackers and learn about their stacking experiences.
I'm 70 and started stacking March 2022. My house is freehold and my car a 2020. My 'basic stack' is 6 oz gold, 2 oz platinum and 350 oz silver, and will not change much as I have now moved on to collecting numismatic/collectibles high-premium/low-mintage raw/slabbed coins/rounds. I choose according to my tastes, and with a view to the item's future collectability and holding of value 10-25 years hence. Mine is a legacy stack, so I don't expect to sell/trade many items except for those of which I have multiples.
You mentioned a very important point. Your house is freehold. Mine is not. I already paid off 60% but still I have to pay for my house. I will most pobably use a part of my gold stack to pay off the rest when I get retired. Then I am in the same situation as you. :) Thanks for sharing your story. That's why I like our community. People from different countries sharing their stacking/collecting journeys and others can learn from it. Have a great day. Stay safe and healthy.
Fractional gold will be much easier to sell in 10-20 years when the gold prices continue to rise. People always talk about premiums but they usually don’t think about potential buyers.
@@AustrianStacker I agree. I couldn't of said it better. It's always going too get more expensive, as time goes on. Very good point about 10-20 year down the road because who knows how much it going too be more then likely out of my buying point.
@@AustrianStacker I’m thinking more about North American banks,….I don’t trust them. The FBI raided a bunch of safety deposit boxes in California, lots of gold, cash, and jewelry was taken. Maybe banks in Europe are safer? Also we live out in farming area with less people so it’s much safer here to keep gold than in town in a bank. But just be careful, you know the old saying…..if u don’t hold it u don’t own it. 👍
I am loving your gold stack. If it were not for fractional gold availability gold would not be obtainable for me. I am so encouraged by your savings. How many years did it take you to get to 44+ ounces to your gold stack?
Fun video! Great stack! I'm in the States but i think that the Philharmonic is the prettiest Au coin! That's crazy about Britannias being cheaper, though! Keep up the effort, sir! You have a new subscriber - glad I found you're channel.
Thank you and welcome to my channel. I appreciate your support. The Royal Mint made clear that they want to be the export champions and lowered their prices. Good for us stackers. 👍
@@AustrianStacker Happy New Year back! I love your country, BTW. Our older son, Alex, is a musician, and back in 2012 we visited Vienna and Salzburg. We planned our entire European vacation around the final performance that season of The Marriage of Figaro in the State Opera House. It was amazing! 😃
Stopping smoking was one of my best decisions ever. My whole life was controlled by two questions: 1) Do I have enough cigarettes and 2) When can I smoke again. Not smoking = freedom. 👍 I spent up to € 300 per month for cigarettes. 🤯
@@AustrianStacker ok, that's pretty good going, don't think I could stack that much per year. Hey, speaking of stacking, I was watching one of the latest Royal Mint videos and they said that their coins were made for stacking. I didn't have the heart to reply, because it was the silver Britannia, that they were made for milk spotting, which therefore precludes stackers from being interested. Nevertheless, the word stacking has come of age now. Perhaps they would have said, silver investing or saving with silver, in the past.
50/50 It‘s hard to get the nice stuff here in Austria. The PM dealers in Vienna are lousy. They usually just sell bullion. If I buy bullion I go to Austrian Mint or a PM dealer, if I want to buy special coins like the coronation coin I buy online usually from Germany. As said what most Viennese PM dealers are offering is a joke. The issue is also that a lot of people working for PM dealers don’t know anything about coins and what’s on the market. I even talked to some managers who had no idea about commemorative coins or coronation coins after the Queen has passed away. If you don’t know exactly what you want, don’t go to PM dealers in Vienna. They cannot answer any questions. Also the way how they are handling coins. 🤯 That hurts…
So you used to live next to Figlmüller? That’s one of my favorite restaurants. 😆 25oz in 6 months? Wow that’s an achievement. 👍 I used to live in the suburbs of Vienna at the Upper Old Danube for 15 years.
Oh my god, I forgot about the Magic of Gold series. I have them in the collector box and forgot to take them out of the safe. That's one of the very few coin series I keep at home. I didn't even realise it when I watched and edited my video. Thank you!
I’m American and I love stacking 10/20 francs, British sovereign coins and ducats for fractional. You can always get them within a few dollars of spot. To me low premium coins are the way to go.
100%! I made several short videos where I compared the prices of bullion and Ducats or Sovereigns. A lot of stackers just trust AGEs, Britannias, Maples and Philharmonics. I don't know why so many people don't want to buy Sovereigns and Ducats. These coins have been used for hundreds of years and are still very liquid.
I got my first Ducats from my grandmother when I was a kid and I bought some small coins from time to time but I wouldn't call that stacking. I would say I started stacking in 2018.
Absolutely beautiful stack of fractional mate. I only stack fractionals and working on filling a fractional tube of eagles before moving onto other things. Was doing a fractional piece a month but had to take a break from the challenge since my income level changed. Definitely have a great stack there. I dont mind the higher fractional premiums since i don't plan on selling and if/when the price takes off its going to be a lot easier to sell the lower sizes. Love the coins youve been showing off lately. The only thing constructive Criticism i have is i feel youre putting too much faith in the banking system by keeping it in a safety deposit box. Id argue that they're not very safe. Peace and love from the states buddy ✌️
I usually buy the cheapest gold coins I can get. That's the reason for the variety in my stack but the majority of my stack is Britannias and Philharmonics. They are easy to sell here. Eagles are the best choice in the US imho. I think they are very liquid in the US. It doesn't matter if you have to stop stacking for a while. It's better to stop stacking than overspending. I saw a lot of people who had to sell their stack quickly and lost money because they overspent. Especially silver takes some time before you can sell it with a profit. My safe deposit box is not in a bank. It's in a security company specialised in transport and storage of money, precious metals and high value items (paintings etc.). The standard insurance is € 100,000 per box. Even the authorities and police would need a search warrant to get access to your safe deposit box. It's very hard for the police to get a search warrant in Austria. I hope you're having a great Sunday my friend. Sorry for the delay. I was travelling and didn't have time to go to the post office. I will resend your package asap. Sorry for that.
@@AustrianStacker hey buddy not a problem at all. I don't mind and just glad to see you're doing so good. Life has been pretty difficult lately to be honest but I went a little crazy on ordering high premium stuff so I'm thinking I'm going to get motivated and start selling as much stuff that I can make a profit on so I can start filling up this monster box and I would like to get to the point where I can sell stuff on eBay and on my channel but on my limited income it's just hard. Hope you're having a great weekend mate.
That's all I can afford personally is 1/10 fractional gold. But even a little bit of gold is better than no gold! And it adds up faster than you think.
I‘m stacking on a budget as well. That’s why I have so many 10th oz coins in my stack. I just buy bigger coins when I get a bonus payment. Every little piece of gold is better than no gold!
Thank you. I have a lot of Britannias because often they are cheaper than Philharmonics here in Austria. The variety in my stack come from my stacking strategy. I usually buy the cheapest coins I can get.
I try to buy what is cheapest as well, Brittanias are the cheapest in the US as of now. Premiums on the gold eagles is so high, same for the silver eagles. I stack silver Maples and Brittanias as a result. Plus a lot of Constitutional silver. Been stacking silver since 2016 but as of last year started focusing on my gold. I really enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing your collection and information.👍
Da sieht man es wieder...kaum fängt man mit dem Kauf von Gold an, hat man schon einen Haufen davon am Tisch und weiß nicht mehr, wohin damit! 🤣🤣🤣 Gratulation zu deinem Stack!
You'd be quite the way off from retirement, so you're in the right spot with 44 ounces, a house, investments (i guess) etc. And then you have kids (in the future maybe), lol. Although kids can be cheap to have, lots of poor people seem to have heaps of them, I think the middle class has so few because they waste too much money on them in unnecessary ways and they have unreasonable expectations for what they will do for them. So the dysgenic circle of the drain keeps going.
I believe that diversification is the most important thing. I have precious metals, some shares, cash, some other currencies (Swiss Francs and British Pounds). My house is 60% paid off. :)
Risk is potential loss x likelihood - How likely do you think it is that someone steals my safe deposit box vs. someone breaks into my house and steals my gold? The likelihood that someone breaks into my house is much higher.
@@AustrianStacker Risks will comes from the institutions and banks. Toughen up your securities and take charge of your own real money mate. If you can not protect what you own you are just a temporary holder. Terrible idea showing your gold which is REAL money online for the whole world to see too but not showing your bank account statements.. re-evaluate your priorities! Good luck buddy.
@@hzj7920 Again: Where is the risk? I came also tell you that I currently have € XYZ on my bank account. Why is this important? This is a stacking channel and not a how to save cash channel. I do not understand what you are trying to tell me.
There's a story about the FBI Seizing $86 Million From 700 Safe Deposit Boxes in Beverly Hills because a box in the depository was connected with a drug dealer. But at the same time there's another story that happened a few days ago a mans house got broken into and the stack of bullion that he had acquired over 20 years was stolen from his safe.
@@AustrianStacker Mate do not be that naive. FInd out about safety deposit boxes being confiscated and contents stolen by the very people you trust to hold them for you. During lockdowns you could not get access to your vaulted storage without vaxx passport. The risks are growing exponentially from the authoritarian policy makers. Things are getting worse by the day. Fiat is almost dead, physcial assets will remain the only escape. The first LAW of physical metals stacker is "if you dont hold it you dont own it".
@@AustrianStacker i love it.. keep up the good work.. you are amazing.. 5 years ago 1oz was roughly 1,200$ now it is 2,400$ it all goes to show that you were right!
@@Mrpercey The gold price goes up continuously for more than 10 years now. Gold will not make you rich but it’s perfect to freeze your buying power. I started my channel because I wanted to show what can be achieved if someone is stacking on a budget. Most of my stack is fractional coins. A lot of channels just showed 1 oz coins and bars when I started my channel.
You do not consider one thing: People lose purchasing power each and every day. Tell me who will buy your 1oz coins in 10 years? Also, how much money do I need in 30 years when I am retired. Most probably not thousands of Euros at once. So why should I sell 1oz if I don't need thousands of Euros? I don't care about premiums because i am planning to keep all of my gold at least 20-30 years.
@AustrianStacker ANY LCS will take your oz. Your loaf of bread will increase in price correspondingly. Always have a stack of cash in your safe so that you don't hafta liquidate silver. Or have 10% in silver, so that u can cash in.
No they will not. I don't know where you are from but most coin shops here don't want to buy 1oz coins already and PM dealers don't pay good prices. Also selling silver is completely different here in Europe than in the US. Having silver at home to cash it in if you need money urgently is probably the worst idea you can have here in Europe.
I can recoup ALL premiums on fractional gold and give myself a broader resale platform when I go to sell! Most people don’t have what an oz goes for at once!
When People who are new to metal collecting ask ... Where should I keep my stack? Where do you keep your stack? A safe in a hole in the wall? >>>Well It's on the kitchen counter LOL
Hello, gold is not taxed in Austria. Just silver. We have 20% VAT on silver. Maples are not as well known as Philharmonics and Britannias and a bit more expensive. Philharmonics and Britannias are very liquid that’s why I prefer them.
@TXLionHeart I was going to use the word 'raped', but you are much more diplomatic. I know my buddy buys gold and silver here (no tax on purchase only cap gains) then travels to Asia where there is only sales tax but no cap gains. He's in the airlines and will bring a few hundred to a thousand at a time when he wants to cash out ...
I ended up stacking more after retirement. It's hard to let them go. You are doing very well.

Great stack AS, I completely DIG IT!
We both have the same goal, ( Stacking For Retirement).
Cheers 🍾🍾
Thanks for your comment my friend. I dig it. (now I know what that means) :)
I stack for retirement but it's good to know that I could survive 2 years with my stack if everything goes wrong.
Have a great weekend.
you too!@@AustrianStacker
Great stack. Like you, the majority of my stack consists of fractional gold. My favorites are $5 United States Commemoratives (.24oz gold). Their premiums are below 5% and they come in many beautiful designs.
That's why I am thinking about buying Ducat restrikes. Lower premiums and as liquid as bullion.
I've also have a few Ducat restrikes. Ducats are my wifes favorites. She likes the double headed eagle.@@AustrianStacker
Beautiful collection, thanks for sharing. I agree Queens Beast is one of the best looking coins.
Inspirational, vielen Dank!
Gerne! 🙏🏻
really nice stack well done
Thank you. That was a lot of hard work...
Awesome. Nice haul mate. Great to see you picking it up over the past few years too
I could just start stacking a few years ago. I wish I could have started earlier but I had to pay off debts, build a house etc. Have a great weekend my friend.
Stick to whatever plan fits for you mate@@AustrianStacker
Love watching other ppl collections. Although I prefer the 1oz coin in gold there’s nothing wrong with all fractional denominations. I prefer quarters but tenth and halves are also in the mix.
I also prefer 1 oz coins. I would also buy 1 kg bars. The issue is my budget. 😆 …and my wife. If we go into a hyper inflation nobody will be able to buy 1oz coins. You could buy whole buildings for 5-10 oz of gold during the last hyperinflation. I think it’s good to have both. 1oz and fractional coins. 👍
Righteous stack of gold, same reason as you. I only have 3 oz of gold so my retirement will not be as "relaxed" LOL
I closed two of my three savings accounts when we built our house. I have most of my savings in gold. Let's see if it will be enough for retirement.
As a stacker myself, I admire your dedication and also because I know how much hardship you put yourself through to reach your amount of gold, congratulations man!
Exactly. Just fellow stackers understand… Thank you.
Wow those Austrian bars are stunning, and so far the only thing I haven’t seen before. Awesome 😎
They are cool. I just bought the bar because of the security feature. 😆
Wow wow very nice ❤❤❤
Thank you. That are my savings for my retirement. :)
Beautiful and impressive stack! I love the HMS Bounty
The Bounty coins are beautiful but some of them have strange purple spots. It seems like they have a quality issue. Thanks for watching.
Very beautiful collection!
So cool that you got a gold coin from your Oma!
I can‘t tell you how much I miss my granny. I learned everything about money from her. She ran her own small shoo for more than 60 years. Thanks for watching. ✌🏻🇦🇹
Well done man! Awesome stack of gold! 🙌🔥🤘
Thanks buddy.
Nice stack.
You are right. I used to store my gold in a bank but I have a deposit box in another company now specialized in storing precious metals and art.
@@AustrianStacker Glad to hear that.
Nice stack and cudos to your grandmother for getting you started, smart woman

Great work Brother! Really nice mix of your hard work on display here for us!! Preesh
@@AustrianStacker I have also been stacking gold and silver.
Do NOT collect fractional if you can save up for oz coins. You're wasting money

I love fractional gold even if I could afford bigger pieces I would still buy as well. Nice Stack man
Fractional gold will be much easier to sell in 10-20 years when the gold prices continue to rise. People always talk about premiums but they usually don’t think about potential buyers.
@@AustrianStacker I agree. I couldn't of said it better. It's always going too get more expensive, as time goes on. Very good point about 10-20 year down the road because who knows how much it going too be more then likely out of my buying point.

Nice stack. FYI, your gold is safer in your home than a “safety” deposit box.
No, it’s not. The risk exposure is significantly lower. Calculate the probability. 🤷🏻♂️

2018 🤔 I bought a Ducat or a 1/10 oz coin every few months before but I wouldn’t call that stacking.
Do you buy most of your gold online, or do you buy them in a coin store in Austria?

Someone told me once to stack two ounces of gold to each year of age you are for retirement. Does that seem like a reasonable expectation?

Hope you're having a great weekend mate.
That's all I can afford personally is 1/10 fractional gold. But even a little bit of gold is better than no gold! And it adds up faster than you think.

Do NOT colllect fractionals. You're stacking for wealth, not a challenge
@AustrianStacker hmmm, interesting. Very different here in America

Sure. Do you know a better place? 🤷🏻♂️
smart grandma....
Do you pay taxes in Austria when buying gold coins?
I noticed you have no maples. Are they too expensive in Austria?
Hello, gold is not taxed in Austria. Just silver. We have 20% VAT on silver. Maples are not as well known as Philharmonics and Britannias and a bit more expensive. Philharmonics and Britannias are very liquid that’s why I prefer them.
20%!? That's robbery 😭

@TXLionHeart
I was going to use the word 'raped', but you are much more diplomatic.
I know my buddy buys gold and silver here (no tax on purchase only cap gains) then travels to Asia where there is only sales tax but no cap gains. He's in the airlines and will bring a few hundred to a thousand at a time when he wants to cash out ...
That makes sense. 👍
congrats on quitting smoking! i bet you're happy to be spending that money on gold instead
100% 👍
Never show your entire stack, it's not safe to do, not to criticize but it's foolish
First I don’t have my stack at home. Second I am living in Austria.
Well done man! Awesome stack of gold! 🙌🔥🤘
Thank you my friend. Have a great weekend.
