He really was fantastical in Charmed, and The Mummy. Personally I think his acting skills are a bit above this show, but I'm excited all the same to see him work in a world like OUAT.
And the story of Aladdin is also based on the tale from 1001 Arabian Nights. Along with the King who was killing his wives but she stayed alive by telling him stories so he kept sparing her eventually falling in love with her. They're doing that one too.

As much as I really like the Aladdin remake (yes I like it, don’t witch hunt me) the Jafar in the remake was very underwhelming. Meanwhile this one was very menacing!
Jafar said, “That’s why you never ever hear these words about a Savior….’they lived happily ever after’…” I’m scared to think what might have happened to Aladdin and Jasmine since he seems absolutely downtrodden in this scene. But also, I hope this is setting the stage for Emma Swan to fight for a happy ending with Killian, Henry, her parents etc. After all, if you spend your whole life fighting to save others and forget yourself, what life are you living? I hope this season goes into the idea that it’s ok to be selfish once in a while. To also think of yourself and your happiness when you’ve spend your life dedicated to helping others. That said, I’m so excited for this season :)

And then TODAY, when they asked the question during the comic con panel, Colin (who plays Killian) said that us fans are "reading too much into things" LOL I'm just so tired of the trolling. This slow burn ship has been through ENOUGH. They both deserve happiness after all the sadness and loneliness they've been through in life. Damn, they went through HELL and back for each other! They BOTH deserve happiness, marriage, domesticity, babies, etc. LOL :)

Mr. Léon The series, it was heading downhill a little for me. But the thing about OUAT is I want to see what's going to happen at the end even though I want to give up watching it. The effects, I don't mind at all. I mean, you gotta understand they don't have enough budget to make it more realistic. If Disney decides to contribute, then, it will be a whole new level of effects. Almost like a movie quality.

I just feel that there is something lacking with the "spark" behind the scenes that isn't tightening things up and really bringing it together. The actors seem great but at times the performances feel lackluster, almost as if they feel it's a little cheesy, too. I'm unsure why, and you're right. I've wanted to give up watching the show and o actually took a break from it and let the episodes rack up before I began looking at it again. I also feel the writing is just bad in some parts. It's too stereotypical, so much so that it almost becomes nauseating, because these characters in the real world with real human emotions (magic or not) wouldn't be saying, feeling, thinking, and doing these things. And that's what the series is about, isn't it? Bringing to life the storybook elements of these characters? Setting them in a true to life environment while incorporating their stories into their history?

Due to his Sense8 commitments, Naveen Andrews was unable to reprise his role of Jafar for Once Upon a Time's Season Six, which explains why the character was recast with Oded Fehr.
I do wish Naveen could have come back. However, I do like Oded so i'll certainly give him a chance.

Well in all fairness Robin showed up in only one episode prior to the recasting, while Jafar was the main villain of OuAT in Wonderland. Still, like I said Oded Fehr is great so no complaints from me.
josh dallas was in the first thor movie.. and they replaced him, too... because of filming schedule etc... we can't always havewhat we want Lol
They wanted to get NAVEEN ANDREW's back but he's on a another show at the moment so they had to recast him.

Mr. Léon The series, it was heading downhill a little for me. But the thing about OUAT is I want to see what's going to happen at the end even though I want to give up watching it. The effects, I don't mind at all. I mean, you gotta understand they don't have enough budget to make it more realistic. If Disney decides to contribute, then, it will be a whole new level of effects. Almost like a movie quality.
+imwithyoubuddy One would imagine that ABC would have enough money to be able to do that. I just feel that there is something lacking with the "spark" behind the scenes that isn't tightening things up and really bringing it together. The actors seem great but at times the performances feel lackluster, almost as if they feel it's a little cheesy, too. I'm unsure why, and you're right. I've wanted to give up watching the show and o actually took a break from it and let the episodes rack up before I began looking at it again. I also feel the writing is just bad in some parts. It's too stereotypical, so much so that it almost becomes nauseating, because these characters in the real world with real human emotions (magic or not) wouldn't be saying, feeling, thinking, and doing these things. And that's what the series is about, isn't it? Bringing to life the storybook elements of these characters? Setting them in a true to life environment while incorporating their stories into their history?
this is not related to the vid but as i was looking at the comments this came to my mind. i like how OUAT is not racist or homophobic. in the show there r quite a few lesbian couples ( i havnt seen any male and male couples yet) and the show doesnt make jokes about it. its a perfectly normal thing.
