Hi Emma! What a happy accident you stumbled upon. The curved bracelet is gorgeous!. I will have to ask the owner of my local bead shop if she has those cube beads. I was sad to hear about all of your ailments. I hope everything gets worked out quickly.
Hello Emma thank you for such a beautiful tutorial. I just ordered a couple different color gold cube beads and going to see how it looks with different color seed beads maybe a galvanized aluminum in toho or rose gold. Just thinking till my beads arrive. I live in Colorado. Thank you for all of your beautiful tutorials. I love them all. 💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰
@@cindysmith4954 That's so exciting Cindy 🤓 I bought a bunch of colours. They are so versatile. They work well with other beads. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Chenille is a favorite stitch of mine, and I have made flat and round Chenille rope bracelets and necklaces. I have not used the cube beads but I love the look and I think I will make a bracelet. ❤😊
I love spending time watching your videos. I feel like I’m across the table beading with you. I am so thankful that you shared your happy accident because I love, love, love this! I’ve had a few happy accidents, and some that were not so happy. lol. I also struggled with chenille stitch till I saw your video on it. The clam shells add such a beautiful professional touch. Even though yours are actually with a clam shell design, I think they are all called clam shells. There is another name which I can’t remember. I hope you get your legs working right very soon. A tumble down the stairs is so scary! Thank you for all you do for us.🩷
Great idea Emma. You saved me & all of the cubes I have. Now I know what to do with them. I have all shapes & colors & having fun experimenting with all of them. FYI, I have some “micro” beads I’ve been having difficult finding out what to do with them too. I’ve found that using a larger cube, I can use those up too. Giving my pieces a lil bit of sparkle. Sorry to hear about all of your ailments. I hope you feel better soon.
I love this bracelet, it's beautiful, thankyou. Inspired to try it myself, I found some cubes I've had for years, my attempt is very lumpy, bumpy and stiff, using ko thread, however I like it. Am going to try and make a flat, more flexible one.
Impressive! I think the domed effect makes this design extra special! So sorry to hear about your medical issues. Hopefully soon our beloved Queen Emma will feel much better. (Maybe when the noisy home reno begins you can setup a temporary camera and table in your bedroom or maybe the basement. While not ideal it could be interesting.)
Great explanations. I'll give it a try soon. BTW, I had My SI joint fused. Before that, waking and all sorts of things was definitely a challenge. The procedure wasn't fun but at least the pain is gone.
@@thatcraftychik3386 Thank you for sharing your story with the fusion of your SI joint. It's on my radar with my scoliosis and aging I can't afford to go another year waiting for an injection. My right leg got so week I fell down the stairs and can barely make it up the stairs. I'll be getting a referral to a surgeon 😷
@BabySquirrelBeading you're welcome. I did injections too but they only last so long. I have scoliosis as well. Even physical therapy didn't help me. Hope you find relief soon!

Hi Emma. Firstly, these are beeeyoutiful bracelets. I prefer these to dangly ones because I always catch something or someone. Secondly, I am loving all the videos but because I am having issues again, I cannot watch them all!!! I am chopping them up into manageable length so I don't zonk out 20 minutes in and miss the fun!!! You are being a very busy little beader and there must be a haul coming up soon. I was watching a yt video of glass bead making in Varanasi India and I swear they said they made for Swarovski 😮😮. I was both impressed at the work but saddened by the conditions, Been to India and seen it all first hand. Such a vicious circle. Anyhow, get you later. Hugs. X Xx
@@kathsmith5064 So sorry to hear you're still not well. The beading is helping me take my mind off my medical issues, so yes very busy. You are right some hauls coming up 😜 Jax says he's going to come over there and lick you 🐈
Hi Emma, I enjoy your tuts and I have tried a few with much success. ❤until I tried this beautiful curved bracelet! I get the pattern except for the ends. I’ve ripped it out four times and watched the video a number of times but the ends just don’t sink in! I’ve been beading for 20 years and I have taught beading, here in Florida for most of that time. I also teach chainmaille jewelry so I’m good at following directions but maybe my 82 years are getting to me! I’d appreciate any help you could give me. In the meantime I’ll watch the video again. Do you have a written tutorial that I can buy? I’d be happy to do that if one’s available. Thank you so much and I have to say that your voice is so soothing to listen to that I don’t mind watching many times! Good luck with your procedures. I have my back injection on Wednesday of this week. God bless you! Gen Smith
@@gensmith7532 Hi Gen 🤓 So lovely to hear from you. Sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm going to look at the video again and see if I can improve on it. I was not feeling well when I did the video so I may have been rushing through it. You can slow down the video by taping the setting wheel in the upper right corner then tap speed pick the speed. I would be happy to write out the instructions but I think that would be worse 😂 That is so nice of you to say I have a soothing voice 😜 I was a nurse. Years of practise having a gentle voice. Hope your injection goes well. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
@@gensmith7532 Tip #1 think of your edges like peyote Tip #2 check that you are not missing a cube on the edge. I've done this where it looked like I had my little pattern X of 4 beads but there was only 3.
@@BabySquirrelBeading Thank you for such a quick response! I’m only needing help with the endings and I can see what you were doing and it’s clear but I can’t seem to remember. Is the ending different if you’re putting on the cubes and different when you’re adding the 11/0? I won’t have a problem with adding the clasp with the clamshells and I do have them handy since I do a lot of pearl knotting. Thank you again. In my teaching I have written many tutorials for beading, chainmaille and wire wrapping. If you should would like any I’d be happy to share since you are so kind to share your knowledge with others. Also I’m a retired RN and worked many years in hemodialysis and ICU.
@@gensmith7532 That is wild 🤓 I have a lot of subscribers who are retired nurses. I worked every where including 7 years in NC. On the ends you'll be adding one or two cubes depending on which line you're on. So check your previous row to see if you have one or two cubes that will let you know what to add. If you use the pattern shape it's either an X = cube in 4 corners with a round 11/0 in the middle for this you would add 1 cube to finish the X. The other shape is a diamond with a round 11/0 on each side of it and 2 cubes top and bottom. For this one you'll need to add 2 cubes. This makes sense in my head I don't know if this translates 😜
