I'm sure it can be used however it's traditionally used with electric. However at the end of the day the main rule is this. If it's sounds good to you then it's good to go!

Question - I do have a PRS Guitar as well and planning to get this Polytune clip but I have doubts that may fall since there is not enough "headstock room". How is you experience with it live? Are you able to move freely without tuner falling? Thanks in advance!
