I like a blade for short putts and a mallet for long putts - 😞 the compromise I have made is to find the blade I have the best pace control with- maybe others will feel similar?

You definitely won't be alone there. We're starting to see a lot of "double wide" style blades, possibly for this reason

Carrying both at present (L plates on). Deciding between them has best been aided by recalling the movie Untouchables... don't take a blade to a gunfight (porridge greens). Conversely, taking a mallet to a skating-rink green is like bunting a hockey puck = go the blade. #welcome
