@desibrate3244 several technical issues plauged the game before and feels more like quake/overwatch compared to offer games and people didn't seem to stick to the game in greater numbers.
It almost looked like a no damage direct, but watching the clip frame by frame it looks like the rocket hits the wall of the jump pad shaft behind Nyx just a moment before Nyx jumps across the door way.

Because the score was 49:48. Maxter was already at low health and pinned down at rail and if he gets killed its 49:49. He could have gotten a spawn right after where he would have been an easy kill to finish (and lose) the game. Killing himself instead and resetting to 48:48 had a lower risk of losing, because rapha had the powerup, making it more likely for him to sweep 2 frags and win the game (which he did).
