Hi thx for the awesome review. Ive been wearing this watch for under a month now. Always been a fan of the xiaomi universe. Im very satisfied with this as compared with my galaxywatch 5 based on 2 reasons: Battery Life & Sync with Mi Fitness App without any other conditions (like how Samsung holds u ransom to own a Samsung phone in order to utilise all the functions properly...blegh). The fitness and health functions on this watch is really great, it even has that body temperature reading that ACTUALLY works on the watch itself (unlike samsung's still empty promise)
Stylistically, it's a beautiful watch, nothing extraordinary, although i still like the sleekness of the galaxy series.
But my main gripe is 2 things: the hefty size and weight, which can be felt when wearing it and also the lack of size choices, as it comes with only 1 size. So people with smaller wrists may find it really out of place wearing it. Lucky enough for me, i fall in the middle category of wrist size, it still looks big though, but I've gotten used to it. My overall rating for this watch 8/10. I would personally recommend this over a Galaxy.
Ouh, before i forget...battery is GREAT, although Xiaomi, i hope u could do 1 better with the charging port...it still is a dot click kind, lets step it up with the magnetic kind next round ya! Cheerios!
Highly recommended watch where u can wear it and not think abt getting a same brand phone. Its a freeeee world!!! Hahahahha!
Oh...just a little teeny weeny downside although it's not that important. The camera app on the watch only works with xiaomi 13 series (and above i should think?) But really to me, this is not a deal breaker. Still an amazing google wear os smartwatch, and it being the first attempt
Has it got flick gestures like the ticwatch where you can read your messages up and down by flicking your wrists?

Yes, you can pick the calls on this watch. It’s connected via Bluetooth. If you take the eSIM variant then you can make calls as well.

@@techdazzle have you experienced any overheating with either camera?
Honestly, both of them heat up a lot. If you record in bits and pieces then these are fine. ZVE1 can’t record in 4K60 for more than 10 mins in a stretch. It heats up instantly. But for my use case it’s fine.

Hey Don, Thanks for asking. Since this is an android watch and usually android aren’t region bound other than in China. So I guess it will work fine. In my limited experience I didn’t see any settings for blood pressure measurement, also Xiaomi doesn’t disclose anything on website related to Blood pressure. So I’m not sure

Yeah, the new Snapdragon chipset is said to be little more power efficient. And with all these watches you have to make a habit of charging it every night without fail, else it will be just a waste.

Hi Ranju, I didn’t check the accuracy in my limited time with the watch. However, I think you shouldn’t be worried as Xiaomi is making smart watches since long and most of them are pretty good in terms of measurements.

Hi Mayank, Which variant of Galaxy 5 watch you are talking about?? If you look at the base model of Galaxy watch 5, 40 and 44mm they have battery capacities of 285 and 410 mah respectively while Xiaomi watch has 495 mah. So I guess Xiaomi will have a better battery life. Additionally, Xiaomi is known for battery life I guess they use their expertise here as well. Overall, in my opinion watch 2 pro will last more than galaxy watch 5. Please like and subscribe if you like the content !!😊
