One person I met, who hated me for some reason, would put his fingers in his ears rock back and forth and made a groaning noise which meant that he was upset. When he was happy he would pay his hands together. I rode the same school bus as him so I was able to figure out some forms of communication.
They are trained professionals who have consulted with family on their abilities, what they want and don't want to do, medical needs and how they communicate.
It good for muscles. Imagine if they didn’t move their muscles and fine motor. It hurt muscles to not move. Believe me. I know not many people know that. I can’t explain. But no movement hurts.

This is so ridiculous! Forcing them to do stuff they can't it's abuse! They can't speak for themselves! It's so sad! Where do you go with that?
