More AMAZING journals!!! I lLOVE the ones i purchased from you! If i could afford it, i would buy EVERYONE that you create!!!❤
Your videos are a joy! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and journals.
YOUR BACK…. Love the Waverley and love this journal. I like the edges of the pages on the small books. Beautiful. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Tonya, you continue to amaze me with your journals. So much creativity and options for the lucky person who gets this journal..i love the sketch books. Thank you for mentioning my shop. Can't wait to see what you create next....Kathy
Thank you so much!
The rules drive me nuts TOO. I screw everything up. If the glue shows, Lord help me, I'm back to square one. I get it completely. WOW.. what you've done is just fantastic! I really needed to hear your advice. I've been struggling for a long while. I never finish anything:(
Girl I go through a lot of the same. I know my anxiety goes through the roof at times. I feel like nobody would like my journals that I have made. I know my girls do because I have made them each one. At least I know I am not alone. By the way ....I absolutely love your style and please keep up the great work. You are such an inspiration. Much love my friend ❤️
A delight to see a video from you again. Wonderful journal. As you know I make a lot of journals as well but I always find more inspiration from you. You always amaze me with the items you put on your covers. I sometimes feel I have unusual old items but then you make me look at things so differently - I mean who would have thought of putting a handle on the cover! It is fantastic. Hope it won't be so long until you return with another.
Thank you my sweet friend! I would love to see your collection of cool treasures! Would be so fun to craft together!
Awesome journal. Love all the details you explain in your creations.
Thank you- you always take the time to lift me up and encourage me with your sweet comments! I appreciate you so much!! Much love- Tonya
Hey Tanya! What a nice surprise, when I saw your video in my feed! I luv your work...always unique, always thoughtful, and chock full of clever and original ideas. You are so very inspiring to me because you make me think outside of the box...and that is very freeing for me. I can overthink, being a perfectionist, and I get stuck very easily, like you said, then it takes all of the joy right out of it! I waste so much time that it drives me crazy. I wish my creativity just flowed out of me, like other artists, and I struggle with creating grungy, tattered, sloppy looking journals, but I LOVE that style! So frustrating! Anyhoo... I do understand how you feel...it is the artist's lament. Good to see you back again..God bless you and yours and TFS! Lil hugs xo
It is so good to be back! How have you been!!? I need to head over to your channel I have to catch up! I have not been watching crafting video's in so long! I hope you are well!! And I so appreciate you always taking the time to leave me such encouraging words!! Letting that light shine!! You should know that I gifted a couple of my dangles from you- but there is one that keep in my craft room and right next to my desk! The bling is such an "attention grabber" and so beautiful! Think of you often! Much love - Tonya
You are wonderful! I love listening to your explanations. Your project is beautiful ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for the encouragement! Much love- Tonya
Wow I love the journal it is so detailed and creatively done. I also love the books you made the art journals with. Very nice. Very inspirational 😊❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for the encouragement! Much love- Tonya
Oh my goodness! I have the same pet peeves about shiny glue showing, glue ripples and things being crooked... I am such the perfectionist! I also look at old books and think maybe i should read them instead of use them for the reason I purchased them. And I too can't read that tiny print anymore! You are not alone!! Thank you for your inspiration and encouragement to let go and just have fun!! I love your journal and sketchbooks and your sketches are just amazing!! 💕
Thank you so much for your encouragement! It sounds like we are "crafting sisters" with our similar struggles!! I just subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to watching a video!! Much love- Tonya
I am enjoying the patching grungy style you have created here.
It is so good to hear from you!! I hope you (and your beautiful garden) are doing well!! Thank you so very much for lifting me up with your kind words!! Much love - Tonya
Good job, Tanya!😄👏🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much!! Much love- Tonya
Tonya! I've missed you!! I love that sketch journal in the front!! I'm going to have to try that someday!! Looks SO authentic!! Your drawings in all the little books are really nice, especially the trees!
You should! You are so creative!! I hope if you ever do try the sketch book- you will let me know so that I can see it!! I must get over and catch up on your videos!! I have not watched crafting video's in so long!! Ugh!! Life/time goes by so fast!! As always thank you so much for the kindness and letting you sweet light shine!! Much love- Tonya
I love your journals. I understand what you are saying. I used to be so particular about everything. I always tried for perfection! Then I had a change of heart. I mad a junk journal for my friend and I just threw all the rules out. I left strings hanging, the pages were not all even, there were torn pages, I even left mistakes, and I had the best time ever, ( after I cringed a few times leaving things not perfect). It turned out that it was the best art creation project I have ever done. So, I would say to you, "let it go, have fun, just create, no boundaries and no rules" The art police is not coming to judge you. Hope you let loose and free create. May God bless.
Thank you so much and yes!! I love that phrase "free create"!! That is perfect! Much love - Tonya
great to see you and your work back in YT Tanya
! Really cool books!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for the encouragement! Much love- Tonya
I am so happy to see you back. I think your journals are breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for the encouragement! Much love- Tonya
Tonya! I watched a video by an iconographer earlier today and he said something just perfect: that our art will always be imperfect because it's the nature of reality. The only truly perfect thing is the crucifixion. I'd never thought of it that way. Anyway! Just thought of you. -Gokotta
Omg!! I love love love this! I am making a note of it today in my journal! You always say the sweetest words of encouragement! I even refer to your quotes on occasion (that you have listed on your UA-cam) I have a passion for awesome and inspirational quotes! Anyway- I ramble- lol... even when typing!! Sincerely- thank you sweet friend!! Much love- Tonya
Amazing! An unexpected element with every turn of a page. I think I get it about the getting hung up on " perfection". It seems counterintuitive... the idea of perfection when making a grungy, "imperfect" journal....but.... even when intentionally striving for that grungy look... there's the want to be " perfect" in execution! ( this coming from a fellow RDH 😅)! Glad you're back, nice to see your work!
Omg! I don't think I knew that you were a RDH!!? If you've ever told me my poor brain forgot (and probably will again... lol...my memory is really concerning me! But thank goodness I keep forgetting about it or I would stay stressed out!) - and I truly believe Hygienists have a need for perfection in our occupation (we have to!)... so for me this hobby is definitely a way to "let loose"!! Anyway- thank you so much for always encouraging me!! Much love - Tonya
I have no idea if I mentioned it before! 😅
We have too much to remember sometimes, I wouldn't expect that of you! Have a great weekend!
No, you are not the only one! Sometimes I'll have fun doing a journal then look back at it and think "it looks amateur!" 🫣
Thank you for reminding me to embrace my style, imperfections and all!
