Just yesterday I had a customer who owns a small dairy farm looking for a washer for the small towels they use when milking. After learning a bit about their operation and what features they needed, I suggested she *not* buy a machine from me but rather look for a decent used Wascomat, Dexter etc... however she said she needed something *yesterday* and was fully aware she should not expect a residential machine to last long in her environment. I suggested the LG WM8900 mostly because I could get one, but also because almost all of the "square door" LGs seem to be roughly the same (which is to say, pretty damn reliable) so I'm hoping she comes in a year from now and I ask her "Did you finally burn out that poor LG?" and she'll be like "Oh heck no, we run 12 loads a day and it's fine. I need a fridge for at home." 😂😂😂
I have the same exact washer and dryer set. And just like the front load washer at your local laundromat. This LG washing machine is large capacity. It's washes your cloths much better when you was heavy loads.
Really like the turbo wash feature as that is what sold me on getting a front load machine since it has a recirculating pump and really done my homework and got the lg wm8100hva it will be 3 years in October and had zero issues with mine
LG’s in the USA and Canada are so different from the ones here in the UK and Europe. Ours take much longer. With a full load my LG takes 3 hours 45 mins. Also ours are not that sensitive to suds lock. I like your machine very much.
Funny how my eu made washing machine take nearly four hours but will heat the water in just 40 minutes or 1hr if 60. Makes me wonder why the durations could not be knocked down. This is why I use the fast plus option on it quite a lot which makes it take 1:30 instead of 3:42
At 22:58 when he slapped the glass (or plastic), i was like ´´now THATS alot of damage!´´. :D I gotta say tho that if the washing machine imediately gives up on spinning after a sudlock without even waiting for a bit for the suds to go down, then its quite bad. I do like the motor and how the entire machine looks tho. And the sprayers. I as owner of AEG 6000 series am jealous of those. XD
Greetings! What button did you press for the interior LED light? I bought my mom a Maytag front loader (forget the model #) a few years ago that had that feature, I was pretty disappointed to find out my LG WM4000HWA didn't have it.
The ezdispense is a cool idea, but does it dispense based on load size or by a preset level every time? It looks like it put too much detergent in for this smaller load. It’s nice that you can change the preset level if that’s how it works.
It might have a few different preset levels, depending on what the machine initially senses. Say the machine detects a small load on normal and makes the cycle 34 minutes, it might use a bit less, but If it detects a larger load on normal and makes it 58 minutes, it could use more. That's my guess. Although if my previous statement is true then that also probably means that bedding, which doesn't sense at all will use a preset level.
I had very first turbowash model. It was 9 years old when I left it in the old house in working order. I believe it would've lasted me many more years. I have Samsung in my new house ( came with the house). It's 5 years old and already makes terrible sound, I'm going to replace it either with the LG or Speed Queen TC5.
OH I SEE WELL I HAVE KENMORE WASHER THATS 21 YEARS OLD AND STILL GOING LIKE NEW BUT IF THAT WAS ME I WOULD GET THE LG WASHER AS IT HAS A DIRECT DRIVE MOTOR KNOW BELLS LESS WEAR AND TEAR ON THE WASHER.@@brigitas9176
8:57 That's probably the bleach. 23:25 Does the water level always get that high on a rinse or did the machine do that because of the suds lock? How many rinses did you have to do after the cycle to get rid of all that soap? I have a gfw850spnrs and I have to trick the machine to get the water level that high to wash pillows.
That one rinse was actually enough! This machine is actually pretty good at handling sudslocks, unless it's a BIG one, then it has a hard time removing the suds.
Just bought this model and am excited to have it delivered and installed - I love seeing the high water level on the rinse! Which cycles have the highest water levels for both the wash and the rinse? Do any cycles have water levels go that high on the wash portion too?
Do you notice a strange electrical scent when washer is in the spin cycle ? Right beside the front panel board where it says the minutes remaining I smell a strange scent only in spin cycle but it smells like it’s coming from the front digital panel
That's just part of how American washers work. This also kinda explains why some of the cycles are like 2 hours shorter because it's not taking 2 years for the water to fully heat up. Washers in America also don't have a cold water inlet as the only inlet, it's both hot AND cold. They also don't do boilwashes, the highest they can get is 62°C, that's still enough to sanitize.
@@Blurain727 that’s interesting thanks for your reply, so I’m guessing the washers still are able to heat the water up to a certain temperature then but it just won’t take as long because it adds in hot water straight away when you have selected a hot cycle?
@Kane Harper the machine only heats on a SELECT FEW cycles, those being Sanitary, Allergiene, and Tub Clean. There's also a temperature setting called "Extra Hot" (or in the UK: 60°C) which can be used on a few other cycles.

Is it recycling the suds/water when it keeps spraying? Are you happy with the machine, any updates?

washer: oh I'll suds lock 22:59 Smack

Me: Well, that's what happens when you sudslock on a load that normally doesn't! Towels, I get it and maybe even blankets too.
@@Blurain727I’ve had a comforter sudslock on me before lmao
still wondering what the wash temps are for you, as a european i dont understand the cold to extra hot. is extra hot like 90 or 95 degrees celsius?
No lol. More like 130 degrees F.
Extra hot is normally 60 - 65°C.
The hottest I've seen it go is 72°C
Is this model equipped with a ball balance ring ??
No.

I believe it goes by the preset. So I just set it depending on how big the load is.
It goes by pound only the bedding goes by preset when you connect it with alexa it tell you how much detergent and softener each load is using.

I suffer the same problem man, suds come out of nowhere when it spins. Like what am i doing wrong
Hey. How hot did the temp get for this cycle? Thanks. Cool washer. Im tempted.
I think it got up to around 40°C to 42°C on this cycle. Which is like 100°F to 110°F
@@Blurain727 Cool. Thanks for getting back to me. It's just about a good temp for whites and those jets BLAST them clean too.
how long do those washers last?
I've heard these LGs can last up to 15 years if maintained very well.

From what I've seen, Towels and Bedding seem to have the highest water levels, perm press water level is decent too.
High water levels doesnt tumbles the clothes very well as you saw in the rinse cycle . The wash action was decent amount of water
