I already know 3 songs with it (play and sing), while with the guitar i have an hard time singing along the music (only know one or 2). And if you put a capo on the 5th freat of the guitar and consider only the bottom 4 stings, those are the same as the uke (so even the chords are the same). And more than that uke was invented in the hawaii mixing an afrincan instrument, for the size and the number of the strings, and the guitar for the tuning. So its kinda a little guitar :p i still love it but if you play guitar you can play uke but its harder the opposite way

I need a good voice because I can do all these songs but without singing they sound bland 😢 Practice makes perfect though, my ukulele playing has gotten so much better with every day playing! Also trying things that are a little harder then what you can do is a good way to improve.(at least for me)

Sena saprano is better. It’s what most Hawaiian beginners use. If you want a smaller or bigger one, deeper or higher notes. All depends on your preference tho.

has anyone ever noticed that so many "ingenious" musicians on youtube play with so much accuracy and precision, but so little soul? it's like watching a robot play an instrument. the hawaiian guy in this vid...THAT is soulful playing. the Billie Jean cover? meh. it's all by the numbers. it's just memorized. where's the feeling? music isn't about "correctness". it's about THE FEELS.
Sounds like these people don't understand how to blend their singing with what their instruments sound like... The singing is nice, the playing is nice, but they don't go well together lol
