I don't know what's worse... their stories or what this means for Christian music. Nauseating!

It's hard to take anyone seriously when they say anything positive about Scientology.

When Scientology first emerged, much of what they where teaching was learning to understand yourself, your talents, and your potential for success in life. The philosophy being promoted was a fairly new concept though pretty common amongst many different spiritual groups at that time. This was a very long time ago and a different world back then.

+Wind Lady These were the first lessons available to lure in people who needed something. They had a drug program also. As the person becomes more involved in Scientology the lessons change into their beliefs, at a cost of course.

Sad but true. Many cults start off that way and it is so easy take a person's spirit this way. When you hit the bottom, the wolves in sheep clothing come along as your friend, just to lure you into a trap. :(

Scientology doesn't mind ripping families, friends (and bands) apart. Sure missed People! with Gene and Larry.

"People" was a One Hit wonder band like many of the 60s bands. Getting rid of Larry was obviously inevitable being you can't mix Scientology with Christianity. Christianity is a religion that has NO compromise, it's not like Politics where goodness can reach across the table and shake hands with bad and everything will be ok. There is nothing in common between religion and ideology. Ideology can cloak it's self as religion but true religion can not cloak ideology. The question, what is "true"? Christian "Ideology" is no different than Scientology. Those who call themselves Christian in form doesn't mean they are redeemed. Only those who are redeemed KNOW THEY ARE. The problem with ideological thinking is there is no Born Again Experience, no starting or ending point to the belief system. All you have in this world is a relative idea that something is going on and you better find out before it's to late, THAT'S ALL any of us know! It's not so much "do you know Christ" but more importantly Does Christ Know You? It's Christ's responsibility to find you not you find Him. The honest question every soul must ask, are You ready to meet Him on your terms or His terms... and Why? That's the honest question you need to find an answer too. I like Larry Norman found Christ or better, He found us, sin and all that goes along with it.
