You ladies work so very cool togeather, When you was bouncing idea's I had this thought: Wouldn't it be lovely to add beads onto the spirals.. that way it all adds to the bling of it... I means it's just not christmas that bling works.. OR do you felter's think that wouldn't be the right feel of pumpkins?

Is there a way to use regular floral wire for adding the roving? I do not have access to the sticky wire. I want to use this technique for adding tendrils to one of my pumpkins.
You can wrap pipe cleaner and the wool sticks well, and you can get it quite thin if you use just small amounts of wool. If you use plain wire, you can cover it in double sided tape to make it tacky.
