When I heard their rendition of CSN "Helplessly Hoping" in the very first blind audition for Season 21, I said right then that they would be the first group to win The Voice USA. As the weeks went on I became more confident in my prediction. In my opinion, Republic Records is the best company in the industry. I think that GNT has a good chance of making it big in the music business. I've heard their new xmas song, and I love it. With time it could become a xmas staple. I don't go to concerts, but if GNT came to a venue near me, I'd go. Wishing them great success and happiness.

I was so torn between them and Hailey and let me just say that I pretty much knew that it was going to be a Team Kelly Win not just because of GNT's amazing harmonies but also the fact that Hailey Mia improved week after week. Yes... I've been a fan since their first performance on The Voice! They remind me of my favorite folk trio of my generation... Peter, Paul, & Mary... albeit they are siblings. As a group they can harmonize and give stunning & spectacular performances in ALL genres of music... folk, spiritual, pop, blues, etc. They are phenomenal!
I love these guys. Since the first song they sang, I knew they were winners. I think they might be the first act from this show to become known worldwide from this win.

I didn't watch the show live, but on UA-cam I saw that "Girl Named Tom" performed "Helplessly Hoping" I listened because CSN/CSNY and all of the various combinations thereof are among my top 2 or 3 groups and I was curious. After I listened to it, I sent a link to it to my family saying, "I haven't heard any other The Voice performances for '21, but after hearing this group, no-one else has a chance." :) I then searched for them on UA-cam, and have listed to every single post they've ever made as GNT, and I CAN'T WAIT for new music!
I'm 74 and grew up with the 60's and 70's music. Very few performers any more give us feel good, great people, great family story, feelings that can make a bad day good again. They are truly gifted and I wish them and their parents all of the best. God Bless!

I think when I saw GNT on The Voice I said right out loud, "Oh my God! They are amazing!" And I pretty much said the same thing each time they performed. My mom and I watch teh show together and she loves them too. She's 90. We're going to see them in concert tomorrow night. Soooo excited!! Her words? "Come hell or high water, we're going to that concert!"
From the first few notes of their blind audition, I was totally in ... "Girl Named Tom" was my pick. Week after week they would sing and as soon as I could find it on UA-cam I posted it for everyone on my FB to hear them. I went to iTunes and downloaded every GNT song I could find. I find their music so warm and comforting, I would literally play a few each night before going to sleep because their vocals and music just put me in a good headspace. I made everyone listen to Wichita Lineman. Traveled to see my daughter and made her watch it on my phone. How proud their family must be and if they are proud of themselves, they earned it and they should be. If GNT came anywhere near me, I'd be the first to buy a ticket. Like everyone I am an uber-fan and I have to go now because it's time to listen to some of their music before bed.

They are natural and fresh...so much different from the lip singing, gymnastic dancing and piles of makeup/glitz...I really think that we are heading into a different era where people are TIRED of the shenanigans.

Yes, I have been a fan since their Bland Audition. I thought at the outset that if any group had a chance to win The Voice it was they. I always thought they would deserve it, but, at first, I feared Voice history might beat them. As the season continued, though, I felt their position grew stronger every week. Wendy Moten could have won most other seasons, but for me, at least, GNT aced every show. I half expected Glen Campbell to come out of his grave to applaud their "Lineman".
Love them but I was one of those who hated groups on the show. I thought they were gimmicky. I thought they were get good in the blinds and battles, but I actually thought Kinsey won the battles slightly but it was so good. I however was completely sold on “Wichita Lineman”. They arranged the shit out of that song and I just went full bonkers obsessed. “Creep” was not as good but “Dust in the Wind” was much, much better and it made them the certified runaway winner and there was No looking back.
I agree with much of what you wrote, Michael. But I think they got a bad rap for "Creep". I've gone back and listened to it 5 times now, and I think it's Fantastic. The time constraints prevented them from doing the entire song, but what great harmony they performed, and Bekah was Terrific! (as always). And as you wrote, "Dust in the Wind" cemented their 1st place position at the time. "Viva la Vida" was certainly out of their comfort zone, but they did a good job on it and survived to the next round. Then they performed "River" to perfection, and after that, all they needed to do was show up for the Finale. But they did much more than that. Their performance of "The Chain" was the #1 song on iTunes (all songs/all genres) for 4 days. And "River" was #2 for several days. So, if we had access to the final vote tally, my guess is it wasn't really that close.

They were on tour over the past few months with Pentatonix, and they opened each show with a 45 minute set. They were awesome…definitely a fan!
