JEE Mains and NEET droppers frequently leave these institutions upon successfully resecuring their seats. I have observed several medical students discontinuing the BSMS program midway after securing medical seats. Consequently, deserving candidates aspiring to pursue scientific and research careers are often deprived of opportunities. It is disheartening to witness these revered institutions being regarded as a fallback option. Individuals singularly fixated on the competitive realm of "IIT JEE NEET" may be better suited seeking alternatives elsewhere. These are research institutes. They seek highly scientific heads for the betterment of society. They ain't a part of the new normal careers followed by society. Please treat them like one.
All about advertisement. Had I known about IISER a year or two back. I wouldn't have even looked towards jee. Either NEST or IAT would've been my target.

@@crambo3546 my story is real funny cus I did not even know jee a month into coaching. Covid batch. Exams cancelled. I just did not want to waste time and got enrolled for 11th in vedantu. I never thought I would be preparing for jee just for the boards. Then a month into coaching everyone hyped up jee so much I blindly followed the herd. But as my mind was not ready for that kind of thing everything backfired and couldn’t even score 75% criteria. My ego got hurt it blinded me. I didn’t even look in other direction. I took drop jumped again in the same pit. 2 months prior to jee I come to know I am not even made for these formula stuff or engineering stuff. I had more interest in research area. Now I am regretting my life. Any how gtta score some thing inmy attempt this saturday so I get some gfti in delhi atleast so my parents won’t get mocked on for my foolishness.

No you’re wrong general has no reserved seats. After reservations , left seats are common for all category. That means it is open for all categories.

bhaiya im currently preparing for jee mains april attempt and im keeping iat as my backup exam... my pcm syllabus is 100% complete (only lacking some practice) so in april, may month will biology be done from zero and is preparation of pcm of jee level will benefit me in iat or do i have to do some more practice?

sir i have done half bsc in physics after b tech in computer science because i was got good rank in jee mains but after that i was feeling bad because i left physics and now my b tech in computer science completed and 1 more year is wasted in cse i love physics so much and i don't want to give my carrier fully to computer science , from childhood i want to become scientist please guide me as i am 24 years now and i don't wanna waste my time but please guide me how can i go carrier in physics again
