I gave a cookbook for a bridal gift and wrapped in a kitchen towel. I used ribbon to hold it all together using the matching dish cloth folded as a ribbon. I stuck a bamboo mixing spoon and slotted spoon under the bow and loved the result. I got so much positive feedback from the guests that I have used this several times since (of couse, only when a cookbook is an appropriate gift). I've tweaked it and used a bath towel with matching hand towel to wrap another towel set plus clothes and bath mat, too. Let your imagination run wild! That pillow case idea is genius though! The simple addition of the cardstock really makes it work as a bag AND with a handle!
