Great Video! Grafton Street is so amazing with so much to see even those shops which I've seen only here on UA-cam but hopefully in person next year in 2025! The rides looked fascinating & looked fun there in Ireland! Thanks for sharing Clarie & I'm still subscribed to your channel! 💚💚☘☘
This was a great video with an “Off the beaten track feel” to your video…wonderful. I really love Ireland ❤️😇 and walking around Dublin…. My sister really enjoyed walking around Dublin and meandering through the town… My husband & I plan to visit for our 30th anniversary in July. Dublin is so relaxing & nice to walk around.….Also, love your background music. Thank You!
Hi Claire. Thank you for sharing more of Dublin with us. I am most certainly enjoyed the video experience, good times. Stay happy, alert, healthy and safe. Thanks ❤️❤️🕊️🕊️👍👍
Last I visited Ireland was about 25 years ago. Our family is from Boston, Massachusetts USA and we had a week to visit a couple of family members (first time) and it was a whirlwind wonderful experience. It was around the time Angela's Ashes was published in Ireland but not yet in the US. Also at the time I was a DJ at a local Boston AM station (950 WROL "in the middle of your dial") Once in a while I would fill in for the two long standing DJ's that regularly broadcast the all-day Irish Saturday show. Anyway me and my Mom went to one of those Irish tourist shows held at a Dublin Hotel. The Host of the show was an Irish comedian (name escapes me) and I bumped into him at one of the breaks. I introduced myself and told him where I was from and the radio show The Irish Hit Parade back in Boston. We played some comedic bits of his sprinkled throughout the music every so often and he had been interviewed a couple of times by the regular DJ's. He said let me introduce you and your Mom when I get back on stage and plug your radio show back home. I said great. He did introduce me and my Mom and asked us to stand to the applause but at the time my Mom was in the ladies room. When she came back to the table I said Mom you just missed your 15 minutes of fame. Fun had by all! Blessings to all the sweet people of Ireland and those curious travelers. Good luck Claire!
If you've never been, i reccomend the Seamus Heaney exhibition in the parliament building across from Trinity. Its free and hes one of Ireland's greatest poets
