Wow! I absolutely loved watching that! The structures are so beautiful, but also so clever. The heating system is absolutely genius. I'm obsessed! I'm COBsessed!
I see what you did there 😀
@@ListedInTheSouth 🙂
So Glad you are COBcessed! I use that one too...Its part of my extensive vocobulary...Yes, its pretty great to experience the heated bed, for sure!
@@cobalot9 "Vocobulary!" Love it! 🥰
Beautiful like a real-life fairy tale
Born, bred and raised in the Southwest. Adobe’ is my life and every Adobe’ home I’ve lived in is the best kind of building material for a living space. Cool in the heat of the summer and warm in the coldest of winters. Native cultures and ancient people had it right all along… 😊
I stumbled across your channel, and I'm thrilled. I'm 63 @ disabled living in a mobile home that is literally falling apart. I'm terrified it's going to burn down around me some night. Seeing this, I'm going to try and get someone to help me build a little place for me to live where I'm safe. I'm on disability, but this is very cost effective. Im very excited about this, hope for a home at last! I live in tn , hopefully our dirt works along the same way yours does. Yours looks much drier, i live on a mtn. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I loved everything about this video! Miguel is a true artist. His structures are beautiful!
Thanks so much!
This is definitely the way to go!! I live in a condo in Florida. I can hear everything that goes on in my neighbors homes. Renovations, dogs barking and outside landscapers. One day I would like to have my own home somewhat like Miguel has created.
Yes, I enjoy the cobin very much
This is one of the coolest spaces I've seen. I would love to live in one! Just beautiful and so creative.
Nice! So glad you like!
All of these buildings are spiritual and of the land. So beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for the tour!
I really enjoyed watching this video. The builder is so unique and the dwelling areas are beautiful ❤
Why, thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words...
Thank you for highlighting Miguel. I have been a huge fan of his structures.
Awesome Mickey! So nice to hear!
This would help so many of us struggling to even buy a sticks and bricks home. Oh to be young again lol😅
Dear Miguel,
Your buildings are more than dignified. You are an inspiring
artist. Man, i absolutely wanted to live in your spaces. So COZY. Oh man:
The Sauna: Everyday: i wish.
Your spacious walk in shower with removable roof is just a wonderful space to enjoy nature. Your buildings are True Living Art: inside & out
BeYouTiFul. 🥰 Lovely
What very clever use of heat inside outside! Man to have the sense of Hearth & Home with built in heat under the pillow and along the bed is Genius!
What delightful use of glass and abalone shell, is stunningly beautiful. The living housetop
is so cool. Seems like every detail has been thought of
in your beautiful architecture.
I just totally enjoyed this tour you gave us today. Excellent!
Thank you.
Thanks so much Teresa! I really appreciate that!
I know Miguel, he is a staple in our community. I haven been in and worked on many of these structures for learning and fun. He is def the cob guy. It’s such a delight to see him getting his beautiful structures out to more of the world. What a treat to see! 🎉 He didn’t mention that when you are inside these structures there is a distinct feeling you get, like a warm embrace from Mother Earth. I don’t know how else to describe it. Congrats Miguel! I hope people contact you to build one for them. A home for $1,000 is something most people could use now a days. They are truly something special. I’m so proud 😊.
So beautiful! Detail is gorgeous
I love these spaces! Hobbit Cobin with separate bath and separate kitchen spaces! LOVE! My one question is how they hold up in the rain? Do they take a lot of maintenance through the years? I don’t live far from Miguel, so I’m going to check him out!! Thank you for sharing his work!!! “Brown is the new green” ❤❤
Hi There, Miguel here...Glad you like the Hobbit Cobin! I built this about 12 years ago now and I havent done any maintainance on it at all. The three rules to ensure the longevity of a cob structure is that it has a good pair of boots, a jacket and a hat, namely, a foundation, plaster and roof, which this does... Yes indeed, Brown is the new Green!
@@cobalot9 Miguel, you have great energy and enthusiasm. Your home is beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest cob houses I have seen
The bench looks like the top plate of dentures. "The Denture Bencher!" 😁😁😁
This is pretty nice looking well built home. He did a great job of building it. Great video! It was great seeing this home and seeing how it was built.
Awesome man building from what god gave us truly awesome
He builds with the most plentiful building material on earth, the earth itself.
Earth, grass and pallets.
I just love this guy! Bottlestar galacticcob. 🤣
Cob is fascinating as well as environmentally practical. Enjoyed the video
Love the idea of using pallets, filling them with natural insulating materials and then covering them in cob. Brilliant!
Oh, wow! I would live there, four sure and certain! Move over monolith, this is my most favorite! Jenna, these types of walk through are amazing! Nice variety in your picks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolute BEAUTY & Utter PERFECTION!! ❤😊❤
First time commenting on this channel and I am amazed for his work!!! It reminds me so much of “The Lord of The Rings” films, I love it!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm not sure why they would say that building with the Earth's not sound when ancient civilization did it for centuries and those building are still around
They don’t make any money if you don’t do it their way
$$$
Really great. I've always wondered about how these types of structures could be heated. Now I know.
Bottlestar Gallacticob…lmao😂😂😂 It is amazing!
That is cool that his public bench was the 1st permitted cob structure in CA. Love that.💕
These are just so adorable and so awesome looking!
Loved this video! Beautiful dwellings and such a smart way to build. Miguel is precious! Thank you
Thanks Jen and Miguel 🎉
Think this is a big solution to our homeless crisis. Looks a lot better than tent cities.
Out of the 100’s of videos I’ve watched on alternative living this is one of the best and most important.

One word to describe this video. Amazing 😍😍😍!!!.
These are beautiful.
Amazing 👏
GREAT AMAZING STUFF , BEAUTIFUL 👍🇲🇽
I like the dome shape in these eco tiny houses, as long as you have alot of Nature.
Congratulations I love it
My grandparents house in northern Mexico was built like a country house - room by room, as money allowed for each room to be built. The first room was built when they didn't have much, out of Adobe sealed with plaster.
The rooms built later from rebar and concrete are probably stronger, but they are brutal in the summer or winter without heating or cooling. The adobe room is the most liveable one in the house, by far.
Great mind, great ideas, great stuff :)
I am so envy right now ❤❤❤😊
That's Awesome!
WOW ❤❤
This is amazing & creative!!!! What a perfect way to also help house our veterans, the homeless & help our elderly stay out of nursing homes 🤗🙌😍✝️🙏 May God bless us who want to get our hands dirty to help others!!!!
The house is as beautiful as a fairy tale with environmentally friendly natural materials and very cheap prices.
Loved it
