you made a mistake, the lava splitter doesn't spawn in the 1st door, it spawns where "it's empty" (not the water pool) just that in the event it fills with lava and inside of the lava there is it.
Correction: 1st one is necessary for location IF you want a build item from Winter Events. Also that comment itself is quite rude and even misinforming.
The metal pipes are connected to the water area at water spitter I you look at the top when drained you see the other end of them so the pipes filled that water area up
